I'll ask around. I know I have, well, had a good friend I met at a Freddy convention who reaaally wants these films on Bluray. Her bf got offended by something I said about dogs fighting or some bullshit, so she stopped talking to me. Which pissed me off, luckily she only knows are about the $50 ones coming out. I could have saved that bitch some serious moola. Rot in hell.

I'll ask a few people though, regardless $22 (including postage) seems a pretty good price. I'll think about it. You said they were good transfers?

The Demons movies have been in my life for a very long time, like Blood states some hate them while others love them…I fall into the love category. Later on if they still available I might try and pick up the Synapse ones if I can find them somewhere for a decent price.

But damn…Arrow has better prices and am positive the quality would be amazing! I'm not a collector by far just want decent quality releases of movies I dig and that I will have for my lifetime!

Opinions of people who go to Freddy conventions should never be trusted

They are decent transfers (at least to my eyes), but Synapse's (as usually is the case) are supposed to be superior. I think there are some screen-cap comparisons floating around somewhere (not that I pay much heed to these things anyway as still vs. motion are two very different things), but I guess it comes down to how much you want to pay. I suppose you could always sell it on (maybe even at a profit) if you don't like the films. They are typical of the Italian horror films of the era: lots of great effects, gore, poor dubbing, cheese, randomness, questionable storylines. However, if your exposure to these kind of films has been limited, then it's understandable you being cautious about buying them.

I am seriously considering getting House On Straw Hill soon as well, hopefully they don't sell out before then.

I doubt whether it will mate. It's not limited or anything.

Have you seen Harlequin (AKA Dark Forces), by the way? A very decent Aussie fantasy-thriller.

Been thinking about getting that Creep Show. I've never seen the film. Let me know how the transfer is.

Have heard of the dark Forces title but not 100% sure if I have actually seen it or not…just went on IMDb to take a squizz and have to say seen all the stills so guessing I have seen it but will have to again to be sure.
