I'm ordering an All Region Blu player so I can have some of this Arrow/Shout Fac. awesome. Along with a few other things. Spending $1000 on a player and getting fucked in the ass with Region lock is a cunt. Fuck you Sony useless child molesting cunts.

Just going to buy a cheap $90 one. And then run it through my Sony one with all the kick ass surround sound. I'm hoping that'll work? It should.

Being a horror fan sucks sometimes. All this for cool extras and artwork.. lol *sigh.

Arrow is region B, same as us, so there's no problem playing on our players.

Mother fuck.

Oh well. Shout still has some great ones. And The Halloween 35th version is region locked, as is that awesome new Day Of The Dead release. And all the Psycho films aren't even getting released here as of yet. Plus I already have a few Region A Blus that I can't watch.

It was only $88 so it's not too expensive. Worth it I think.

Worth it especially for all the Criterion releases you can now get, including that super bad arse release of Godzilla  8)

..I didn't even know that existed. I love you.

But I agree. Those Criterion's are beautiful.

Nice selection.  Rene Clair's version of And then There Were None is the best one out there

Indeed - superb film!

Good price. Hopefully any updates won't destroy the region free capabilities.

Shout and Criterion are certainly worth going region free for alone. The Halloween 35th Anniversary Edition is also getting a release in the UK (in a snazzy steelbook). Same transfer, same extras, and better artwork than the US release, too.

You can also get the 'proper' Blu of Videodrome now, too.  8)

Oh is it really? I was going to order that US Halloween version today. So save it for the UK one you think? Halloween isn't my favourite horror flick (And I feel it's sequel is better) but it's still a huge part of horror history I must own.

It will just depend on which artwork and packaging you prefer really, as they are both Anchor Bay releases. The original Halloween is my favourite film from the franchise (followed by part III; which I don't consider a sequel as such), but it is far from my favourite horror film.

Some nice Region A purchases there, too.

I don't think it's been reviewed anywhere yet, as the release date isn't until Oct 21st.

I can't see it being any different from the US release, as it will be Anchor Bay releasing both, just in different territories. They would use the same print of the film for both releases.

Blood did I see that you pre-ordered the Steelbook of Nosferatu somewhere???

Mind sending me a link? I've searched but I can't see anywhere that says it's a steel book. And if I get a crappy normal version I'll kill infants.
