Has anyone seen The Bridge? Serial killer on the Mexican border. I'm really interested in the drug cartel situation in El Paso - Ciudad-Juarez so hoping this is good but have seen differing views.

OK watched the first episode. Looks promising and the mexican actor is very watchable but god Diane Kruger annoys me as the lead. She's very good but the character is so goddamn annoying. Yet another detective in a procedural with aspergers. It's getting a bit old now.

Deadliest Warrior. This show is fucking ridiculous. I sincerely hope nobody takes the 'information' presented in this as fact lol Good lord. I say this as a fan of Ancient Aliens as well.

First episode of the new series of Top Boy. Dark, gritty, urban drama set on a London housing estate. Much more realistic and less cringe worthy than any of the other London based 'urban drams' I've seen over the years.

Last 2 eps. of Under the Dome and Dexter

What did you think? I gave up on Under The Dome within 5 minutes of the pilot. Dexter has turned into a total piece of shit but now watching it as an unintentional comedy written by 15 year old girls. I thought it was always pretty crappy but liked the music. Now I just think it is totally crappy.

I'm ok with Under the Dome based solely on the oddity of it... although I think the show would have been better served having been made for a premium channel.  The writing is iffy, and it tends to drift down soap opera lane a bit too much, but I can easily dispose of the chaff to get to the wheat.  8)

As far as Dexter - I was late to the show.  Only last month did I get around to watching it from the beginning, and marathoned 7 seasons in a week or so.  I think the show peaked by the close of season 4, and maybe deservedly so.  The Lithgow was pure genius... and it would be pressing it a bit to top that season.  IMO a decline from that point on was by no means set in stone - but more or less predictable.  I still like the show, but it's definitely time for them to wrap it up... in saran wrap that is.   :grinwink:
