BIOPHAGE (2010)
« on: March 04, 2013, 04:49:17 PM »

Quote
SGT. Cain and Dr Bell Struggle through a post-viral-outbreak in America, trying to return to their home base, Mt Bethel. The landscape is almost devoid of human life, the former populous now virally transformed into biophages. On their journey home, Cain and Bell are faced with nightmarish confrontations, testing their loyalty to one another and forging them to reevaluate their ideas of what humanity really is.

BIOPHAGE is a pretty much a UG Zombie Flick. It was shot in black and white and they did a great job with this. I enjoyed the story and felt the biophages looked good. I do need to view again as it has been quite a while before I state my deeper feelings. I shall do so tonight after work.

I reviewed this film over at UHM when Phibes first got the original copies. Solid film for sure....I wish him all the best.

Though some of the acting from the main characters was a little stiff really enjoyed my return viewing after so long. Again; dug the zombies, with how they looked and ambled along. Guessing the black and white was a nod to NotLD...but then just maybe they love B&W as do I and just shot it that way.
