Movies that could be related to this 'pandemic'
« on: August 12, 2020, 06:05:45 AM »
And I'm not talking about obvious ones like Contagion (2011).  I will go through some that are not so obvious but illustrate well what is actually going on.

In the Mouth of Madness (1995)

This is about how a book can drive people insane.  And the author is creating a new reality which is hell on Earth.  Sound familiar?  I never really understood this movie until now.

Pontypool (2008)

A radio transmission that turns people into zombies.  The words are the virus.  Could it be, that 'covid' is in fact a mind virus spread in the same way?

Revenge of the Sith (2005)

A lot of people said this was referencing current events of the time but it makes more sense comparing it to 2020.  How a democracy turns into a dictatorship.  Best line in the movie:  "So this is how liberty dies.  With thunderous applause."

V for Vendetta (2005)

About a government that becomes a dictatorship because of a virus outbreak.  And the virus outbreak being staged by the government.

Day of the Dead:  Bloodline (2008)

I like this movie but in a way it is pure propaganda.  All about how a vaccine will save the world (from a zombie bite).  Although they never mention how they will deal with the remaining zombies.

If I think of more, I'll add some.  Feel free to add your own.  :)

Alien (1979)

"I had a horrible dream about smothering"

Sounds just like the face nappies.  They may as well be facehuggers.
