Shock and awe!

Me too, thought I was going to get into it far more.

A satanic cult, an alien and a sewer mutant walked into a bar...

And a killer clown..

That alien is silly wtf.

As for Terrifier, what about the part where he wears the woman's skin and goes full on Ed Gein for a moment.

It was great, the movie has moments that are great.
My thing is and it is just me, clowns do nothing for me, so that is an issue as well for this experience to work overall.
Like I said years back on the Halloween 2018 thread not for me glad you folks like it I leave it to those that like it to dicuss.

A lot of killer clown movies suck, yes.  But this clown is a well realised character.  I never thought so until I saw Terrifier.  Can't wait for the sequel.

If I were to rank killer clowns I would put Art just below Pennywise and Joker.

I like Harley Quinn too but her latest movie wasn't very good IMO but she might rock it in Suicide Squad 2.

Like clown horror myself. Feel the clown paint is a metaphor of discussing what is really beneath or even a laugh at this {!}.

I don't know about metaphors, it's just they have this demonic look but they're meant to entertain children.  Go figure.

I feel like the better clown movies happen to be the ones that don't look like your stereotypical rainbow colored kid party clowns, movies like this one where the clown character itself is unique, or at least is purposely made to look creepy, I can't watch them otherwise

Clowns actually have a policy not to look scary to young children.  Except John Wayne Gacy, that guy is obviously trying to look scary.

Art the Clown:

The Ninth Circle (2008) (Short film)

This is the first appearance of Art in a short film played by Mike Giannelli.

Terrifier (2011) (Short film)

This is the short film that made Art famous among horror fans.

All Hallows' Eve (2013)

An anthology containing the short films The Ninth Circle and Terrifier, plus some new material.

Terrifier (2016)

First feature length movie with Art the Clown, this time played by David Howard Thornton, who is much better in the role IMO.  This is the best so far.  I like how this character was built up first with short films and then to this.

Terrifier 2 (2020)

Apparently going to release in 2020.  Can't wait.
