FTBOMP
« on: October 09, 2014, 07:27:51 PM »

New website will be updated frequently: www.rondecarohorror.webs.com

For official release: For the Better of Mankind Productions has just finished up on the writing process for a new feature film entitled "They Go Down to the Sea". Written by Ron DeCaro and Keith Monahan. It is by far FTBOMP's most ambitious project to date. The Director of Photography film will be Shawn McPherson. It will star Keith Monahan, Joshua Hardwick, Carolyn Never and Heather Temple. This is a project that will need funding. In fact two indiegogo crowd funding campaigns will launch soon with many perks aimed to reward funders with items that appeal to collectors. That being said we are reliant in large part on our fan base we love you and if you want us to move forward we can no longer self-fund these projects. There will be a film shot previous to They go down to the sea. "Halibut Point" will be our take on the found footage genre and expands of the mythology of Trog which will carry through to the much more ambitious project to follow. These films will retain the level of brutality you would expect from For the Better of Mankind Productions accompanied by a H.P. Lovecraft inspired story lines attempting to make creatures effective in horror again. Here are the synopsis:

NEW FTBOMP FEATURE FILM
They go Down to the Sea - Synopsis

Long ago our primitive ancestors stood in awe of the power and mystery of the oceans. Forefathers wove tales of shapeless, primordial evils from the black depths. As history continues to be written, their tales became folklore... until now. In a small coastal New England seaport, three squatters hope to skip town by cashing in on their aggressive meth dealing scheme. But what holds them back reminds them of what has been forgotten. Their loyalty will turn to violence. What is hidden beneath the waves will reunite them with their repressed demons as they go down to the sea.

NEW FTBOMP FEATURE FILM
Halibut Point -Synopsis

A divorced man tries to move forward with his girlfriend and children. It is a tradition for him to capture one day a year on video for prosperities sake. On this day the awkward new family ventures into a forested costal sanctuary for a hike. Shortly after finding a peculiar black stone on the shore, one of the children goes missing in the woods. Now completely lost and unable to find the missing child the sun is setting. Something is roaming in the trees, stalking them in the darkness.
The Brightside Trilogy films to be released on MASSACRE VIDEO

For the Better of Mankind Productions is proud to announce the partnership struct between FTBOMP and Massacre Video for the distribution of Eating Razors (a love story), The White Lie and The Gateway Meat better known as The Brightside Trilogy. The short film Emancipation with be featured on the DVD as a bonus feature.
Self distribution is a difficult project for underground filmmakers who ofter lack the simple storage needs to house their wears. We will continue to distribute new products in limited formats however previous works will be licensed to trusted friends in the industry who are focused on distribution. The release will be punctuated with all new special features and a limited run on VHS. Louis Justin is committed to giving the trilogy the treatment it deserves and this release will be much wider reaching.
