I gotta start a thread for this because I like this film.  It's better than Shaun of the Dead IMO.  Joe Dante of course made the awesome Gremlins films.

It's aimed at horror fans too with lots of references to classic horror.

Shaun of the Dead has more zombies and more gore.  But in terms of romantic zombie comedies, I think this is better.  More likeable cast, better humour.
