Rock Paper Scissors {2017} 2019 Release
« on: July 26, 2019, 03:36:32 PM »
aka Rock Paper Dead  :gum:

Peter "the Doll Maker" Harris returns to his ancestral family home after being released from the state's hospital for the criminally insane - a "cured" man. Once inside the old house, anguished memories from a tortured childhood and ghostly visitations from his past victims shake Peter's resolve. It isn't until lovely young Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a fateful decision, a decision that will rekindle old desires that always ended in murder.

Director: Tom Holland

Michael Madsen   :red_heart:, Luke Macfarlane, Tatum O'Neal

In 2016 it was announced that Holland would be directing the film Rock Paper Dead, to be written by Friday the 13th screenwriter Victor Miller. A trailer for the film was released on March 2, 2017. On October 21, 2017, the film premiered at Nightmares Film Festival in Columbus, Ohio, where it won Best Screenplay Feature. The film was set for wide release in 2018 but this date was postponed. In May 2019 it was announced that the film would be released under the title Rock, Paper, Scissors on DVD/Blu-ray as well as on VOD on July 23, 2019.]

I swear to fuck I made a thread for this film but it's not in the search, well if or when I find it, I'll merge.

Most people will think this is crap but I'm not most people. I fucking love this. Yes some parts are bad but its a charming bad. Gore is good and the characters are mental! Love this, psychotics, masks, dolls, depravity...right up my alley. I hope to own this. It's out on VOD on several platforms.  And Michael Madson is bloody awesome!

You may have done one elsewhere perhaps?

Maybe some of the characters put people off with their oddball acting but would be hard pressed to state this is crap. Everything looks pretty darned good and agree, Madson is on-form here.

I'll check it out.  Love Fright Night, Child's Play and The Langoliers.

The creepy doll mask is cool, the gore is cool, the flashbacks with the creepy uncle, the creepy killer, the chick protagonist and the twist ending isn't bad either.  I would say but I don't want to spoil it.  It kept me watching.

Wouldn't mind seeing a sequel but I doubt that will happen.
