Dwellers
« on: August 10, 2019, 07:49:05 AM »

While shooting a documentary on the suspicious disappearances within the homeless community, a filmmaker and his crew go missing while uncovering a terrifying and vicious secret below the city’s surface.

This movie was being shot and locations include Barberton & Cleveland, OH., Chicago, IL., Indianapolis, IN. and Nashville, TN.

In addition, Fortier told us a little bit about the inspiration for the film. He confesses that Dwellers is a send-up to one of his favorite films, C.H.U.D., and even Shep Abott, C.H.U.D.’s writer, has given Fortier his blessing.

“I think it’s gonna have something for everybody,” says Fortier about what Dwellers will offer the horror film community. “I think horror fans and movie fans in general will find something they enjoy about it. Also, this is probably going to be the closest thing to a C.H.U.D. remake until one actually happens. This is truly a movie that I’ve always wanted to see and I can’t wait until it’s released. The whole meta-aspect of it is really fun too with a lot of us playing ourselves. I hope it playfully confuses people.”

~ Fitz of Horror

Director: Drew Fortier
