The Scars of Xavier is  the directing debut of film editor Kai E. Bogatzki. The cast includes a mix of German, American, and Italian actors such as Marc Engel, Alexia von Wismar, Constance Wetzel, Oliver Troska, Dirk Sonnenschein, Daniele Rizzo, and Isabelle Aring.

Synopsis:  Xavier (Engel) is a quiet 45-year-old man who lives in Prague. By day he works in a car wash service, but by night he is a brutal and vicious serial killer who primarily targets young women… until one day he meets a waitress named Karolina, and suddenly everything changes. Knowing Karolina awakens emotions deep within him that he thought were lost a long time ago. However, these newfound emotions also kick his murderous desires into overdrive, and his urge to kill grows and grows. Can he juggle both aspects of his life, or will it all end in disaster?

If I possessed over enough financial resources, I could have seen this on the 2nd day of the festival "Weekend of Fear", instead opted - in the shape of a mental poll - for the 1st day solely because of "Song of Solomon" (which was awesome, don't get me wrong).

If I had enough money I would have a large room full of these films...AND...if I really had the dough I would be going hey you underground filmmaker what can you do movie making wise with THIS amount...you know if I came into the real loot it is what I would do.

This was pretty good, violence and blood a plenty. I love the sick mind of a psychopath, it is also sad.
