The Blob (1988)

Something arrived from outer space...and it's HUNGRY!

Always dug the death scenes in this one, death by being devoured alive...icky! Always a Halloween favourite! Above poster if my memory serves me well is the same one as the VHS cover I first saw when I grabbed it off the shelf at the video rental back in the day as a squirt...

Maniac Cop II (1990)

Cordell is back to wreak mayhem and revenge on a Police Department that wronged him...

Always remember this being my favourite of the series, but feel now my tastes run more to the original...which I shall re-watch this Halloween : )

The Thing (1982)

After a hundred thousand years the thing is pulled out of the the Antarctic ice and thawed by the Swedes...Norwegians Splat Norwegians...a paranoia sets in for a crew at an US research station...who is human...and who is The Thing!?!

The Thing has been in my life FOREVER!!! Now I don't view this as a remake at all, apparently it is true to the original book far more than the original movie...

Xtro (1982)

Three years after being abducted by aliens daddy is home for his son...

When I was young Xtro wasn't quite a favourite though at the time it at a reputation. Guess I just didn't appreciate the aliens weirdness that played across the scene as I love it now! Has some amazing scenes and a dwarf alien fiend from out of the mind of a little boy!

Cujo (1983)

Cujo is bitten by a rabid bat and slowly the infection changes him from a loveable Saint Bernard to a killing machine...

Been a while and was in the mood for some King so...

Salem's Lot (1979)

Evil comes to Salem's Lot and slowly consumes the town...

Felt like a King double banger...

Tombs of the Blind Dead (1972)

The Blind Dead are awakened to feast on the living...

Thought I had seen this but unsure now. Structurally and certain elements seems familiar BUT...don't remember the first victim reanimating. Some really nice shots, especially at the lady's workshop...especially of that gif below...

The Deadly Spawn (1983)

Deadly spawns from outer space hunger for living flesh...and become the hidden ingredient in a vegetarian sauce...not quite to Ju Ju's tastes...

Another from the distance days of past when VHS wasn't a hip thing but reality! Another one where like The Prophecy and Kindred where the movie was so dark half the time you didn't know what the fuck was going on...but like those before mentioned films they stuck in my psyche...
