I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu (2018)

"I Spit On Your Grave Deja Vu" - the 5th in the series of spinoffs, is the only sequel that shares characters as well as continuity with the controversial 1978 "I Spit On Your Grave" and the only new installment written and directed by the creator of the original 1978 film: a "treat" to the vast loyal fanbase throughout the world. The most anticipated sequel "I Spit On Your Grave Deja Vu" picks up with Jennifer Hills (Camille Keaton) as a best-selling author of a book that recounts her rape ordeal and the controversial trial in which she was acquitted of mercilessly killing her four assailants. Jennifer Hills is now living in New York City with her famous supermodel daughter, Christy Hills, played by Jamie Bernadette. Both are kidnapped and taken to a remote rural town by the revenge-seeking relatives of the four rapists from the original movie. That is when the deja-vu nightmare begins.

Maniac is getting a 4K restoration from the newly found 16mm print. Every single release till now has been from the blown up 35mm version that went to most cinemas. The 16mm original film was lost, but discovered early this year or late last.

Colour me fucking interested.
