Hmm.

Kind of burned out on the zombie thing but I'll probably end up checking this out.

Some scenes looked great, going by the trailer.

Could never grow tired of zombies! Probably because I grew up with them thus they are under my skin.

Though wish there was more fast shambling along than outright running this does look like a worthwhile re-take of the original compared the the original remake of this that was a piece of shit.

A re-take that looks like they put some heart into!

Kill. Me. Now.

Worst film of the year. I know it will be.

I rather watch Pitchfork.

The acting was horrible... an emotionless mess.

I don't want to talk about it anymore.

It was like a 'fake' movie..{probally only I will understand this term}...but felt unreal...people just going through the motions of being in a film...it made my stomach turn.

No one cared.

Quite the perfect description!

More like Day of the Dead: Poopline  :hahanot: Al these movies trying to cash in are cursed by Romero I reckon...when the genuine fan comes along and creates something with heart it will shine through and the man himself will look down and gives his blessing...in the form of the movie not being a Bloodline of Shittiness!

Heard that saying "Curiosity killed the cat"...well Curiosity killed the Splat's 1 and a half hours of movie time!  :cantlook:

I didn't think it was that bad, the acting is not as good as the original, but the story is cool.  This is from the same guy who did The Corpse of Anna Fritz (which is a good movie by the way).

I like how instead of a random zombie, Bub is a stalker zombie.  That hasn't been done before as far as I'm aware.

Every review I read trashes this movie.  So much hate.  I don't get it.  What is so bad about it?

The acting - most of the cast/crew aren't American so that's why the acting seems 'off'.  It was shot in Bulgaria.  The cast do well though, especially Jonathan Schaech and Sophie Skelton.

Remake - it's not even really a remake, it borrows some elements from the original but does its own thing.

The Gore - the gore is awesome, mostly practical stuff.

The Zombies - the zombies look cool, they're running zombies but every movie does that now.

This is such a cute movie.  I've seen lots of worse zombie movies.  This is way better than World War Z or Warm Bodies.  :yay:

The thing about this movie is that the chick is trying to develop a vaccine to cure anybody who gets bitten (before they turn into a zombie), but there are still millions of zombies to deal with.  So the happy ending is kind of cheesy, but I still like it.

P.S. - the Joker looking zombie is cool, he's basically a stalker/rapist zombie
