~ A J.R. Bookwalter Feature Presentation ~
There’s a new drug on the streets! While on a stakeout to nail a dealer’s top aide, hardboiled cop Eddie Boone loses his partner and gets injected with a dangerous new designer drug with nightmarish side effects. While searching for his partner, he begins to see the world a little differently — the urban streets are now full of mutants, monsters and mayhem! The trail leads to a den of evil where Eddie is introduced to The Drug Lord, the mastermind behind the lethal narcotic, and ends with an explosive finale that will have you glued to your seat in nervous anticipation of the next second of terror! This stuff will blow your mind…
Tempe DVD
Ozone
(1995) is cult filmmaker
J.R. Bookwalter
8th film since starting out with cult zombie classic
The Dead Next Door
(1989)
With a budget of approximately
$3500.00
in the mid 90s
J.R. Bookwalter
pulls off a film which going by the trailer could easily fall into the category of one of the solid horrors of the Golden Age of the 80s with it's feel and atmosphere. Plenty of gore, maggot filled skulls and other practical effects
Ozone
should prove a real winner for people who regularly visit this forum. Interestingly
Bookwalter
himself has stated that this is his favourite film of his after
The Dead Next Door
(1989)!
Ozone
(1995) can be purchased at the usual
amazon.com
or
e-bay
! Better yet though is to purchase off
Tempe DVD
and support

Just purchased this off the Tempe DVD site, paid the $9.99 instead of the usual price of $14.99!
I have NOT seen Ozone yet and this is the reason for me doing this thread, to find out a little about it. For me it is a real winner and din't have second thoughts on making the purchase. Also felt really good to purchase directly off Bookwalter as well : )

I do like Tempe films but have never watched Ozone before. I have seen the trailer for it several times and will watch it sometime soon.

Just re-watched for the first time in ages last night.
Why..because elements of House of Forbidden Secrets reminded me of tis and i needed to confirm my feelings. More some of the visuals than anything. Plus the demon too..
Yeah, makes me ponder if it was a influence...
