Another Hole In The Head Film Festival
« on: November 12, 2013, 09:03:51 PM »
2013

"   10th Annual Another Hole in the Head Genre Film Festival
Nov 29-Dec. 19, 2013 at the Balboa and New People Theaters. We will screen 56 features and 27 shorts.

Our annual festival of horror, sci-fi, dark fantasy and exploitation cinema defies convention to bring you the most outrageous genre films from both emerging and established filmmakers. Three weeks of celluloid mayhem not usually found in your local cineplex!

“San Francisco’s original genre film festival is characterized by a scrappy, DIY aesthetic that eschews big studio content and recent trends towards elevated genre. Holehead’s programming remains curatorially committed to the genre’s graphic roots in shockploitation, visceral thrills and gleeful mayhem.” – Michael Guillen, The Evening

Noticed a few movies caught my eye that I felt would really suit this place, including some new zombie features  :victory:
