Saw this at the cinemas when first released back in "92 with an old school friend. Was like awesome Evil Dead, gonna be all gory and sick...just say when we walked out after the movie ol' splat wasn't the most impressed  :grimace:

Now if I watch it I go into it as a fantasy film, though I do like some of the horror aspects.

First Evil Dead is really cool.

Everyone rages about Evil Dead II.  It's not as good as the original IMO.  The first half of it is basically a remake of Part 1.  Then it goes crazy with the comedy and slapstick.  Less horror.  It's still cool but I prefer the original.

Army of Darkness takes the craziness to a new level which is why I like it.

The 'semi-remake' is good because it takes the series back to its horror roots.

I never bothered much with the tv show.
