Horror-on-Sea Film Festival 2014 (UK)
« on: July 18, 2013, 06:56:55 AM »

"I am delighted to say that I was absolutely staggered by the reception we had for our first Horror-on-Sea festival! I knew we had a powerful line up, but the number of filmmakers who joined us was amazing and it was great to see them swapping ideas with each other, and the fans. As everyone kept telling me, it was such a friendly festival, with plenty of time to socialise in the bar in between screenings. Thanks, everyone, for your support – now lets top this next year!"

"I am now accepting entries for Horror-on-Sea 2014, although you’ll need to hurry, as the closing date for submissions, on DVD, is 15th September (for further information please contact me at horror@thewhitebus.org.uk)."

"And, I’m pleased to confirm that the venue, the prestigious Park Inn Palace Hotel, has already confirmed special festival rates, with 3 nights for the price of 2 for B&B being excellent value."

"So please keep checking back for further updates, and I’ll see you in January!"

"But before then, don’t forget our second Zombie Walk, down Southend’s iconic pier, on Saturday 2nd November, and we’ll again be screening horror films at the end of the pier around Halloween. Titles to be announced, so keep checking back!"

Okay filmmakers you've read what Paul has said now get those submissions in. 8)

Attention UK fans of the macabre and the horrific! Southend’s very own Horror-on-Sea Film Festival returns this year, bringing chaos and disorder to the big screen at the Park Inn Palace Hotel. Whether it’s nerve-shredding blood and gore, monsters on the loose or something eerie and creepy that you crave, Horror-on-Sea is the place to be!

There are 18 films, with supporting shorts, over the three days of mayhem. Excellent value Day Passes will save you money, but the ‘Big News’ is the Weekend Passes, which will save you a massive £40 off the total ticket price. These are on sale now. But hurry: there are only 100 available!

The full programme (including Pat Higgins’ Masterclass) and ticket details can be found at http://www.horror-on-sea.com/

Look if you dare, and we’ll see you in January!

Dear Horror Fiend

After a really successful Horror-on-Sea 2014, we are now looking for new feature length Independent Horror films from the UK and the rest of the world for the Horror-on-Sea Film Festival 2015. Full details on how to submit a film can be found on the Home Page of our website - www.horror-on-sea.com

If you have made a new horror film, we would be delighted to consider it for inclusion in the HOSFF 2015, but if not, please help us spread the word that we are looking for new entries.

If your film was screened at the Horror-on-Sea Film Festival 2014, it will be shown again at Horror-on-Sea East in November and I will send you full details of this event soon.
