The Green Knight (2020)
« on: May 11, 2020, 12:58:11 AM »

A fantasy re-telling of the medieval story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9243804/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0

I don't know about the casting but visually it looks nice.

This is the third time the story has been adapted.  Based on a poem that originates in the Middle Ages.  What I like is it's a King Arthur story but it's not about King Arthur.

Gawain and the Green Knight (1973)

Haven't seen this but it's very different to the remake.  More of an atmospheric/mood piece than an action movie.

Sword of the Valiant:  The Legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight (1984)

I've already discussed this at length.  This will always be my favourite version of the tale.

The Green Knight (2020)

Looks pretty good, looking forward to this one.
