Appears House Of Usher (1960) is getting remade http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2602524/

No information at this time though and too early to really state anything in either the positive or the negative. Al I can state is hope it is something worthy of the name.

Mind you there is a 2008 version http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1017442/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2

1989 The House Of Usher http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0095332/?ref_=fn_al_tt_4 with Oliver Reed and Donald Pleasence in it.

Lastly a 2006 The version as well http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0455537/?ref_=fn_al_tt_6

I'm on Horror Society at the moment while I put some stuff on a USB to watch and spotted the following…

Television Viewership:

The Walking Dead – 12,003,000
Sleepy Hollow – 7,092,000
Almost Human – 6,764,000
Once Upon A Time – 6,657,000 Grimm – 5,809,000
The Talking Dead – 4,073,000
American Horror Story Coven: 3,995,000
Once Upon A Time in Wonderland – 3,534,000 Dracula – 2,992,000
The Vampire Diaries – 2,666,000
Supernatural – 2,009,000

Big numbers for all these ones that I cut and paste but still surprised that American Horror Story was not higher. As for The Walking Dead looks like it will have a few seasons in it still. Supernatural doing quite well too, haven't really watched that since I think the 5th or 6th Season.

I didn't know where to put this but..
Does anyone know anything about the new Scream Tv series that MTV is making?
It's rumored to not even have Ghostface a part of it and the fact that MTV is putting it out scares the shit out of me  :no:

From Academy Award® winner Brian Helgeland comes the true story of the rise and fall of London’s most notorious gangsters, Reggie and Ron Kray, both portrayed by Tom Hardy in an amazing double performance. LEGEND is a classic crime thriller taking us into the secret history of the 1960s and the extraordinary events that secured the infamy of the Kray Twins. In cinemas September 11.

MARTYRS REMAKE IS IN DEVELOPMENT

Plot;

No official plot announced yet.  It is rumored this will be a remake of the original that followed two young women seeking revenge on those who abused them.

Directors;

Kevin Goetz and Michael Goetz

Info;

Daniel Stamm once was attached to direct, but had to drop out due to budgetery reasons.  He once described the film’s script as “spellbinding” and “a beautiful character study of how far you’ll go for an insane friend” and “one of the best scripts I’ve read, probably ever.”  Daniel Stamm had this to say about what fans can expect from the remake: “Martyrs is very nihilistic. The American approach [that I’m looking at] would go through all that darkness but then give a glimmer of hope. You don’t have to shoot yourself when it’s over.”

HALLOWEEN III .....recalibration  :blink:

John Carpenter’s Halloween III is getting a new face lift???  Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan who wrote the screenplays for Saw 4-7, have been contracted  to write the script for the film.  The duo also wrote Feast, The Collector and The Collection.

This Halloween movie version is being described as neither a remake, a reboot, or a re-imagining, but rather as a “recalibration.”  Will have to wait and see that they mean by this.

Something about them using the word recalibration that makes me giggle somewhere deep inside  :thinking:
