I read this today on my FB News Feed...  :red_heart:

Quote
Everything is working... I know AGP: Bouquet of Guts and Gore is not even out yet, But BLOODSHOCK is now in the works! Revenge Is Her Middle Name is ready for August and another great film is behind it. Damn... great films are in the works... Getting ready to be released...
Some know what is coming down the pike... some don't because so much is happening on Facebook it's even hard to figure out which cat smacked a dog or which Japanese video hand-wanked a karaoke guy.
In five days... we will be announcing three other films... no wait, four other films. A lot is in the works... all new movies, never released and we are working with many new people, directors and production companies... the excitement here is outstanding.
Thank you. All of you, to help us, to realize our dream of making Indie Horror Cinema a staple in the film industry. Unearthed Films released out first movie, Guinea Pig: Devils Experiment/Android of Notre Dame in 2002. It's now 2015... with over 65 releases to our name... and my 1st feature... Bouquet of Guts and Gore as the 66th. I don't know what to say. Sort of funny it's the 66th. wink emoticon
Working with Ryan Nicholson, Matt Garrett, James VanBebber, Marcus Koch, Hideshi Hino, Clive Smith, TF Mou, Shozin Fukui, Nacho Cerde, Andrey Iskanov, Takashi Miike, Brian Paulin, Frank Henenlotter, Miriam Dora, Daisuke, Yamanouchi, Gareth Evans, Frank Sudol, Jimmy Screamerclauz. Heiko Flipper, John Albo, Michael Simmons, Merzbow, John Hand, Andrew Allen, Éric Falardeau, Cristóbal R. Dois, Felip Eluti Lucifer Valentine, Anthony Matthews...
I could go on and on... We have all been thru good times and hard times. It's what this industry is about... We're in a great place now. We will be announcing many more directors to join the UF team and new films, never before seen and even some old ones... Unearthed FIlms is growing at a wonderful pace and horror fans are not going to know what hit them.
It's because of you... that we can do this. It's because of you... that actually cared to see the film we put out that want us to succeed. You, of all people want to see more from every film maker we can handle. We have been screwed over, beaten down, manipulated and fucked over... I could have quit... I could have sold out but I have never given up. It's so much easier but fuck that... I have people I am counting on and people are counting on me.
We're in a great place now. I have reps everywhere... it all depends on the film. We're not known for our mainstream films. We might have some here and there... but you know what Unearthed is about.
I just wanted to say something to you... ALL OF YOU. Thank you... for never allowing me to give up. Thank you, for giving me and keeping my passion alive at it's most darkest times and making my life's work... satisfying and giving it meaning. I know, Ultra Gore is not meaningful to so many people... but to some of you, it is. You're the person I wish to thank, you're the person I need to buy beers for. If it wasn't for you... Unearthed Films would be dead.
As usual, I could go on and on... so I will leave it at this...
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro

More MAJOR announcements coming up... new trailers... coming up... more releases lined up, more film festivals soon to be announced and more convention appearences in the works.
I want to thank so many people I work with, friends with and people that have not only just found us, but have been with us from the very beginning. With so many other horror labels, never taking a chance on new, independant films or even just producing a film of their own. The amount of respect, honor and love we have been getting is just amazing.
Tons of stuff in the works... I am sorry that I don't have much time to go out and have fun and to be honest, I get a lot of messages and such thru Facebook now that I easliy get lost sometimes... so please forgive me if I don't get back to you.
But it's all for the greater good of gore and horror and I'm in a place now... single and working like the Devil in a convent of nuns.
I'll be dropping a trailer in two hours... for one of our next releases... Hope your ready... This will be an ULTIMATE EDITION. Best on the planet! So you have been forewarned and teased to bloody excitement!
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro

Since I have been asked. A lot of people want the limited version of AGP. I have a bunch... was going to hold off but... Shit is moving, people are excited and copies are selling for a lot more then they should right now. It's too new... Hold onto it!!! Stop being virgins in the collectible industry. Lol Let the makers sell out of shit. It's not like we are not going to use this money to make a 3rd or 4th film in the series.
I'm not putting these up to screw our fans over. I'm putting these up so fans can enjoy what they either missed, want to see what has not been offered.
We understand. .. people want to flip.... no problem with that, just let the film makers sell out... that's were the real money is. Especially when 6 other movies are involved. I would say seven but... Bloodshock is ready to hit. Are you even ready for that? Trailer is dropping this week... You want to sit there with your dick in your hand? Saying to yourself, fuck, I didn't wait.
AGP website is almost done. News about the series and what we have planned for this series is going to make waves in the whole industry.
We don't care who people think they are. We don't care if someone got the drop on us, before we managed to do it. What we care about... is doing what has been planned since 2002... while you see the roll out, you may understand we were ahead of the game... you may not, we don't care. Shit is going to get intense though.
Are you ready? We're not just some wannabe mainstream series, telling you how hard core we are going to be. We're American Guinea Pig. No one can touch us, no one will come close to us. And we will show everyone we means business. This is my business.... my business is gore, true terror, mind warping disgusting nightmares that make normal people disgusted.
I'm not joking around. Your now coming into my world. My world is hallucinogenic. It's fantasticly brutal, uncompromising and viscous. I know you want it. Your ready for the next level...
Thank you for believing in me. We are just starting. With everything in the works, films lined up and more... the film making society is now looking to us for unrepentant atrocities that we are more then willing to deliver.
I'm not trying to blow you. I'm not full of shit so many do in this industry. I'm not joking, I won't rest until I fuck you up. That is why I am alive, it is what I was meant to be.
I know, sounds crazy... but wouldn't you want a crazy fucker, trying to mess with you then some guy/or girl, playing with you for a paycheck?
Gore for thought? Dripping entrails oozing all over your face, trying to realize it is a dream but understanding... it is your destiny. Am I your destiny? Is madness and gore your salvation? Only time will tell... and my time is The American Guinea Pig Series.

So much going on... it's a wonderful thing... but dammit, I needs a secretary! Confirmed and finalized our newest release for January, artwork and cover design. Set up the deal for CREEPER for cable VOD thru Verizon, ATT, Dish Network... and so on. Just sold a couple of films to Germany... in talks for American Guinea Pig to get it's release in Japan. (Japanese Government has banned the original series, so it's a sore point with everyone.) Gorezone Magazine is putting out, in the next issue, a ten to twelve page article on Bouquet of Guts and Gore, Sitges is set to show Bouquet in October, Housecore Horror Film Fest set for the world Premiere of AGP; BLOODSHOCK... then a full screening in Chicago... Going to Pittsburgh for https://www.facebook.com/undergroundhollywood... (https://www.facebook.com/undergroundhollywood...) Unique footage from Bloodshock will be shown there.
Oh, and Unearthed Classics will be announced soon. AGP Number 3 will be announced, sooner then later. Bloodshock Pre-sales is in the works, contests for Phil Stevens Flowers is floating in the air.., Revenge is Her Middle Name just came out... and a new series of Japanese Horror films is in the works... and working with a producer many know and love for a sequel to a highly regarded film, for it's sequel. I may be writing this, so be prepared. In talks with AGP 4 and 5...
Oh, and a bunch of rare titles in the works, more interviews, more films and damn.... my cat is starting to pet me... "Taffy! What are you doing?"
Taffy says, "You work too much. Why are there body parts in the living room?"
I say, "What? I am doing what I need to do... The horror community is counting on me. The people need to see the films we make and release."
Taffy says, "You didn''t answer me about the two dead hookers on the couch."
I say, "What? Those are rubber parts."
Taffy says, "Rubber doesn't rot... I'm not stupid. You should at least, freeze them so we can have a picnic later."
I look at Taffy and Taffy looks at me and I say, "Sorry little buddy. I'll dispose of them now."
Taffy says, "Their freshness date is at least three days after death. Freeze them, or pickle them. Waste of good meat..."
I say, "Fuck, more work to do."
Anyway, Please forgive me... if I don't anwer your messages as fast as I should. FB messages are getting buried and it's not like email... so I have missed some and even a bunch. I'm not used to this amount of messages on FB and I thank you, all of you who contacted me thru here...
Please contact me thru Unearthedfilms@aol.com
I will always be able to anwer your messages this way. Now, I have some more work to do... removing rubber body parts out of the living room.
Taffy says, "They're not rubber body parts, their leaking into the sofa and while you,re at it, change my litter box... fucking slacker!"

I've spent hours on the phone with Mister Stephen and i gotta say - what a genuine dude. The kinda guy ya just rant and rave with simply because you can.
Everything happening and about to happen from UNEARTHED is a true labor of love. We're talking about years of fighting and hard work.
And finally we are seeing everything that Biro has been cultivating since the very beginning. The man has nine heads and NEVER stops moving. EVER.

Two treatments for films are done... working with some amazing people for sequels to kick ass movies that are in the works. AGP:Bloodshock is almost finally edited... Unearthed Films is kicking ass with the release of Creeper, Her Middle Name is Revenge and the upcoming release of Flowers and Faime De Mort in October... it will put the cherry on top.

Another contest working for Flowers is almost here and Bloodshock will be up for presale soon for Feb delivery while 6 months later, a July/August release for retail for everyone else. More films lined up, Ruggero Deodato is working with us now and so much more...

Yes, I don't have time to date, no time for play or even time to shave... but fuck it, I'm too old to dick around, make crap or deal with shitty people. I'm only dealing with the best in the industry... people who deserve my time and effort and people, I want to work with... in this soon to be glutted industry where only the best of the best, is actually noticed and talked about.

More films to be announced soon, more films I am personally working on and... another two films will be announced, that I am directing. I'm only teasing about what is going on behind the scenes. Crazy shit is in the works... people and myself are getting very excited behind the scenes. It's taken me... a long time to spread my wings. I will be taking a lot of people with me. The so called Underground, is not going to be underground for much longer. So many people with drive, unique ideas and can be counted on... in our industry are coming on board. Even if I have to drag them into it.

Unearthed Films is finally hitting it's stride. Hard work and dedication is finally paying off in spades. I've worked for over 14 years in the industry that many people think is shit. It's not shit, the face of horror changes over the years and you always have some yahoo, claiming they're going to change the face of horror. Unearthed Films is going to mutilate it. I'm going to slash it, rip it's eyeballs out, and mutilate it with such a degree of ferocity that people will stand back, and say, "Fuck, well that changes things."

I know this sounds like blustery ego talking... but dammit, I know what is coming, I know what is in the works and I understand, some fans of horror are not on our level. But the levels are going to change. People worldwide are wanting deeper, nastier horror films with more gore and heavier ideas and that's, what Unearthed Films is all about.

I hope your ready for the next level. My life, work and business count on it. I hope you are... cause I am.

Death and Dismemberment,

Stephen Biro

This guy....  :red_heart:

I have some good friends. I have some great ones, I have some shitty ones... a couple of marvelous ones and less then a handful, I should kill for the betterment of Society. I haven't killed anyone... should, but haven't. LOL I'm sure I am on a lot of friends lists, where I should be killed, should be bought beers and others... I seem to neglect but it's a wild and wonderful life.
People I respect, people I want to work with and people I am friends with... I can only do so much and be honest about it. I have people I am working with, people I admire and people I reach out to in moments of crisis. My family is growing. I don't have kids, I'm divorced and single and I am finding that, glorious friends are taking the place, of even my family.
I've been a lonely child, for most of my life. The only thing in my life, has been the love of horror films. For most of it, I was just alone. Even my teenage metal family, didn't talk about Frankenhooker, Re-Animator and such... so I was mostly alone, as far as my TV knows. I knew, that people loved the movies and scenes of gore, ultra violence and insanity I knew... and it took over a decade to find a couple of them in what we can consider reality.
But it grew... the internet was born and my reaching out to people, saying, "CHECK THIS SHIT OUT!" grew and grew and then, I finally found that I wasn't by myself. That's when my love for horror, found out, it wasn't alone in this world. I have some very close personal friends who helped me, into the career I am in. I owe them, deeply and financially. I have people that respect what I have been doing for most of my life, and without them... I would still be on an island, out in the middle of nowhere, wondering why, I am who I am.
I got hit today with my mind, thinking about my friends, my gore family and those, who are not only interested in what I do, but care enough to see what I have done, all across the board. My novels are selling better now, the dvd library of Unearthed is picking up steam, people are following my career and work is gaining steam, not only for screenplays, AGP but the growth internationally is gaining such momentum that it makes me step back and say, "Fuck, what did I actually do?"
With so many directors, producers, actors, FX artists, people in the industry, working hard, busting their ass and working with me... taking my breath away, to not only know these people on a personal level but to even want to work with me... is an amazing thing all together.
And to my fans... Why the fuck do I have fans??? I have just wanted to showcase, intense gore films that I think gore fans, would want to see. I've released films, that I think everyone should see and now... I am working on outragous gore films that I want to see. I'm not making anything for AGP that you want to see, I'm making them for what I want to see. I'm an old school gorehound. I'm in the works with other films besides AGP. I'm not making them for you... I'm making them for me. It can go, totally bad. I realize this... understand this and I will accept this. Especially, if one of them fails. I really understand this... writing it, directing it, producing it. making anything that you the fans, find as shit, hate or blow off... means I failed.
I'm ready for this. I am counting on the people I work with, trust with my lively hood and my name, no matter how small it is in the industry. I just want to say... "Thank you all for who have been there with me since the beginning. Thank you all for those who have found me and interested in what I do and most of all... thank you, for even knowing who I am and what I do.
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro
PS: Late night post... don't excpect much traction from this. It's just to my close friends, my family that is growing and maybe some people who are just interested in what is happening.

EXCITING NEWS! American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore... is getting a release in Japan. Just signed the contract. Very excited! Very suprised as well... The Guinea Pig Films are actually banned by the Japanese Government due to the panic about the Otoku murders. Why you have never seen a Japanese dvd release of the films in their home country.
Needless to say... very happy with the deal and looking forward to what it does. When Flower of Flesh and Blood came out, it was #2 on the best selling vhs tapes for 6 weeks... #1 was ET... so curious how this will do.
So... releases for Bouquet of Guts and Gore are in Germany, France and now Japan.
With so much going on, I never got the chance to post this screengrab from the AGP page when it hit 666 likes. LOL It's now over 4000 and still growing. So happy people are looking forward to a new series of unrepentant gore films.
Death and Dismemberment,

PS: I just watched Bloodshock and I do have to say... fucking whoa. It's unlike anything I have ever seen before. Truly unique, visually stunning and graphically intense. Marcus Koch did an amazing job and I am so happy to be working with him on this.

Very awesome indeed on variety of levels!

First is obvious, for Stephen and the gang behind the film.

But...

Also, it could get some Japanese filmmakers to up their game. Could be a catalyst for them to go lets one up the Mericans and create some fucked up, gory experiences! Win, win for everyone!

Naturally VERY EXCITED to have my BLOODSTOCK experience!!!

AAAHHHHhhhhHHHhh! Damn... not enough time in the day. Marcus just gave birth to the 1st AGP: BLOODSHOCK dvd! Running around, last minute work on the screenplay for AGP: Dark Nirvana, Bloodshock stickers arrived today! Have a bunch of screeners for new films to check out for UF. American Film Market went really well. We were surprised at how many higher ups congratulated us on AGP. People in the know do pay attention to the scene, more then you know. Got all of the shipments out before I leave Friday morning... Phil Stevens, FLOWERS contest is still going on, anyone who buys FLOWERS from the UF site is automatically entered in... still have a couple of VHS left of it. Reviews on this bad boy are amazing. It ends on the 15th! Faime De Morte, Creeper and Revenge is Her Middle name is kicking ass... Bouquet is selling wonderfully and people are really excited about Visceral; Between the Ropes of Madness. It's selling constantly as more people find the love, gore and uniqueness of this true Unearthed title.
AND YES... working on the goodies for the preselling of AGP BLOODSHOCK. Wanted it up before I went to Housecore BUT... might be better afterwards after people see it. Looking at the goodies we will be offering and yeah... it's going to be a monster. Hopefully, people dig what we are doing, help share and show that in this day and age... a new series of unrepentant gore films that can go anywhere is not only wanted but is needed from fans, for fans.
If your missing the premiere at Housecore... week after... Days of the Dead in Chicago...BLAMMO and more fests are lining up... world wide so it's going to be fun.
Back to work... no rest for the supposed wicked. wink emoticon

Got two movies to watch tonight! Both top secret, Japan sale is finalized for Bouquet of Guts and Gore... A new film is in the system for distro, waiting on extra's to be finalized for another film, waiting on a hard drive for another, conversion for another from Digi-beta... and a 4K restoration job is in the works for the upcoming Unearthed Classics label and going over a couple of contracts for more finalized product for release...
This was just supposed to be about the two films I am going to watch tonight and turned into this. VHS for limited Edition FLOWERS is shipping to us, end of the week, more fests lining up... and a huge announcement coming and I mean HUGE. But more huge announcements after that. More stuff... The line up for films for the AGP line up will be announced soon. Still working on directors and time tables. Working on some sequels to some amazing films lined up, hope we get em off the ground... Um... damn, I just wanted to talk about the films I was going to watch tonight and then said all this shit. Madness of Many will be hitting North American VOD for ATT, Verizon, Amazon and so many other cable companies Dec 10th... like available in 80 million homes, same with Creeper with right now, available in most of your homes... right fucking now!
Damn... I have a lot going on. Sorry, this was just supposed to be about the two rightous films I'm about to watch and the thril of me cooking and eating a steak I bought, instead of the mac and cheese that is the usual.
Oh, and my evil cat, Taffy, told me, to tell you. "Fuck off, unless you get him some catnip."

Thanks to my close friend, Ryan Nicholson... he has told me, that Rue Morgue Magazine... has said, we won the prestigous award... for 2015 of, Goriest Film, out of all horror films, released in 2015.
More top ten lists, (Hopefully) to be announced soon. I am personally, amazed that the film we put together, has been able to stand up, against the mainstream horror films with budgets of umpteenth dollars and marketing blitzes and have caught the imagination and bloody nightmares of horror fans worldwide.
I'd like to thank, Marcus Koch, Chris Polidoro, Melanie Dean, David Hood and Shelby McIntyre on working so hard and bringing the FX together for my first film.
Cayt Feinics, Ashley Lynn Caputo, Frank Pickarelli, Alberto Giovannelli, Mady Giovannelli, Rogan Russell Marshall, Scott Gabbey, Sean Donohue, Chris Leto, Jimmy Klaus,Eric Eric Danger Dionne, Kristian Day, Nick DeCarlo, Becki Kelly, Lucio Giovannelli... Thank you so much... for being there and kicking some major ass in making this a reality.
And I can't thank James VanBebber enough, for bringing the film aspect to this monstrosity.
I am always, and humbly taken aback at what we accomplished together.
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro
PS: Now... we get to see if AGP; Bouquet of Guts and Gore was a fluke. Cause BLOODSHOCK is on the way.

So much going on... so much misery with death on everyones calling card. Death is not the end, but a new beginning...
I didn't want to post about anything I am personally doing when news of Wes Cravens death hit, then Lemmy's death hitting... then Angus Scrimms death... and now Bowie. Unearthed Classics... I'm holding off on the news... Bloodshock... I should be pushing it hard... cause I need too, but whoa... so many greats are leaving this little fragile earth this last 7 days. We have so many talented and loved people, getting ready to leave us in the soon to be future... much less more kings of entertainment soon. It's hard to enjoy and share personal things during non stop memorials of highly revered people.
(A TOAST!!!!) So, here is a look towards what may be... lets enjoy the time, we have left, look forward to the things that we enjoy while enjoying those around us. Remember those in front of us, as they pass on... have hope for the future and live in the now. That's all we have actually. Our time now... Everyone is going to die. You, me, our friends and family... all that really matters is, what we do with the time that we have left and wether or not, we relish it, make the most of it, enjoy the things we do, the people we know and try to leave our mark on a society that we will all leave behind.
(This is a hard post... to be honest. My Mom, RIP loved David Bowie. I've seen Lemmy perform quite a bit and bumped into Angus and Wes here and there. I have stories... but their personal.)
Here is to the future, for all of us. See who can fill the shoes of those worn before us. I understand, these are big shoes to fill... but those, younger then us, those, just starting out in life need people to show them, that they can do great things, bigger things in this day and age and never give up and wallow in the greatness that was shown before them and let them understand... that greatness is just a word that not only they can accomplish, but they can surpass.
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro

MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT ON AMERICAN GUINEA PIG!!!
Due to unforeseen circumstances... the next film in the line up, "DARK NIRVANA" has been put on hold. Felipe Eluti and I are working on something for the future, See Visceral: Between the Ropes of Madness.
Instead... we are jumping to the LAST AGP film, "EXORCISTS" Directed by yours truly, FX by Marcus Koch, Cat Bernier-Sowell and several others we will be bringing on board for this outlandish tale of salvation vs damnation, innocence vs cruelty and yes, God vs the Devil.
To be honest, this was supposed to be the LAST in the AGP line up. It was supposed to be the final cherry on top but talking to other producers, sales reps and seeing fan reactions to AGP brings us, full circle, faster then we wanted. So many think, this is just a torture porn series. It's not... it has elements in it, that harkens back to the days of yore... but this new series, is NOT, just that. It's a different beast entirely.
Bouquet is the flag ship... it links Flower of Flesh and Blood and Bouquet of Guts and Gore as the title, that Hideshi Hino watched and recreated for Japanese sensibilites. Bloodshock, Directed by Marcus Koch is a different animal and showcases love and relationships in a desperate manner, no one has ever seen before. It is so unique, that there is nothing in the horror genre that comes even close to what we accomplished with it.
This... is a different demon in it's own rite. This is me... bringing my expertise in the showdown between God and the Devil at war with each other. Lets be honest and full up front disclosure. I have met the Devil, on several occasions. People have been possessed in front of me and I have been to Hell. I've met the Lord, once and it was the the utmost, debilitating idea and understanding that destroys any rationale idea you can have, outright and never, fucking never... come back from. (Please read my book, "HELLUCINATION and DIALOGUE WITH THE DEVIL" to get an inner insight into what I am bringing to the table.)
The story is all plotted out. I am finalizing it this week. I've pitched to to everyone and the reactions I get is, "Fuck man... That's going to be hard-core, Your going to fuck people up with this, Your fucking with peoples minds, psychology and theology unlike anyone has done before." So yeah... I'm excited.
I take this, so mother fucking seriously. None of you can understand where I am coming from with this. That's why, this will be the next in the American Guinea Pig Series. Bloodshock isn't even out yet. No one has seen the newest version or even understand what we did with it. Texas Frghtmare and the next Days of the Dead will finally see it in it's entirety. Should be fun to get the reactions.
I know.. this post is a bit long... but yet, it all needs to be said. The Exorcist is the PERFECT horror film. How can we top that? Going against one of the mainstream classics that everyone knows about and quotes and showcases. No one, has been able to outshine, outdo or even come close, to the films meaning, FX and substance. We will, but we are not. EXORCISTS is NOT, a take on The Exorcist. It is it's own demonic beast, entirely. It will be 100% actual Exorcism Rituals from the Vatican Library but of course, with the American Guinea Pig bent you all are coming to enjoy, as the films are released, one by one.
We raised enough from pre-sales from, "AGP: Bloodshock", to move ahead with, "Exorcists." And we are moving ahead with it. I still need to find actors who will be able to speak, latin, italian and aramaic or at least, memorize their lines in the different languages.
So to recap... Dark Nirvana is on hold for now, were moving ahead with Exorcists, Bloodshock is just being seen in all of it's entirety soon and I, am just a happy camper to be in an amazing spot in the horror industry that no one, is in.
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro

Wow, leaving Los Angeles in the morning. Had an awesome time at Days of the Dead. Lots of work, lots of meetings. Met some amazing people. Like, really amazing people. Deals are signed, people and directors are lined up and films procured to a crazy extent. So happy to meet the best of the best in our industry. In the little bit of time I was here.
Jerami Cruise, Kurando Mitsutaki, Mark Savage, Jason Hoover, Jessica Cameron, Sdjan Spasojevic, Heather Dorff, James Balsamo, Jason Koch... And least of all, Nicolas Cage. All amazing people, all kicking ass and taking names. This is, who I can mention. Others I won't. Lets just say, I had a great fucking week. I ran around like a madman, trying to meet everyone, to work with everyone.
Needless to say, Horrorwood is my future home. So much going on, new films classic films, merchandise and awesome people are in the works. Unearthed Films is about to go ballistic. Not because it's what I want or need, but because of what we offer and being honest and upfront. I never knew how much of a rarity that is, in the industry.
Can I say more, you bet I could. Some secrets are meant to be secret. More announcements coming soon.

I've been asked, a lot recently... if I had a film, I would want to remake... what would it be?
I guess, bringing the Guinea Pig Series back to life and doing it justice is the reason. These are the films, I would dare... to remake.
The Exorcist: (No one has been able to beat it, no one has come close.) You may say, that the next AGP Series, is my answer to "The Exorcist." Totally different direction though. Different vibe, different everything...
Jacob's Ladder: An amazing film, dealing with the mind/soul while a person is dieing and thier immortal soul, is between Heaven and Hell.
Fist of the NorthStar: Should be insane... should have the cheesy elements that made the anime, so amazing.
Faust: The comic book... It would have to be XXX rated though. This would never happen but it's the dream project.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Think about it... 1 was amazing, 2 a classic that went in a different direction but worked and then, the sequels that didn't. Just cash grabs... Would have to work with Tobe on it... meld the intensity of the 1st with a little of the black humour of the 2nd...
Evil Dead: MAN!!! WOMAN!! It would have to be insane... talking Necronomicon here... mixing Cthulu mythos with demonic possession... add the elder gods... fucking GOLD MAN!!!
Scream Bloody Murder: Out of left field, but I always dug this grindhouse feature.
Bloodsucking Freaks: To find the new Sadu and Ralfus, would be challenging... but if found... MAGIC would happen. wink emoticon
Wicked City: Amazing... turned me onto a fetish wink emoticon... talking tentacles, ultra violence and suits... LOL
Batle Royal High School: Insane, Ultra Gore... this would be a lot of fun...
Wouldn't be remakes... just new editions to the mythos of everything.
Lets see where my career path leads. Now you know what I am gunning for, still a newbie, technically in the industry as a filmmaker.. But I am lucky... I have done things, backwards. Set up distribution, handle international sales and now, making films. I set up, the hardest part first... As a filmmaker... you know what I am talking about.
I have had people, tell me I am an artist. I don't consider myself one. I am a business man, whose work has given him the opportunity to showcase and allow my artistic side to come out. Both with the films I release, make and write. Yes, I wrote 5 books... I don't consider myself a novelist though. Yes, I have written 3 movies, directed one, produced 4... with more on their way. But I don't consider myself a film maker... What the fuck do I think I am actually? (Holy shit, existential crisis right here!!!)
I'm not a horror fan, you would figure I am, but I don't watch everything anymore... not a film maker, not a novelist... but I am a business guy, minus the Italian suit and gucci shoes... I guess, I am an old school Gorehound. When the 80's and 90's left off... with the intensity and outragousness... I am trying to pick it up, where they left off. Go beyond that... A lot of us are older, we have seen everything... to push beyond what we have seen, witnessed and brought into our lives to become a part of us. Very hard to do... but that's my goal... it's my job.
Damn, this is my actual job in life! To fuck with you, visually, with films. Sound, with music releases and soundtracks, mentally... with books and screenplays. Wow... How the fuck, did my life, get to here?
I'd like to thank, all of you. For buying a film from us, reading one of my books, interested in anything we are doing, talking and working with anyone we are and allowing this entertainment, into your lives. I could never be here, doing what I am without all of you. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Death and Dismemberment,
Stephen Biro

What do you think??? American Guinea Pig: Malevolent Possession or American Guinea Pig: The Song of Soloman
Malevalent can semi sound like an Asylam film... Song of... very artistic... could even go with The Song of Songs since that is what it is called... What do you think???

IMPORTANT HORROR NOTICE TO EVERYONE IN THE INDUSTRY!!!
It looks like, a review for American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Guts and Gore has screwed up, a mega corporation, "GOOGLE" and they have turned off, NERDLY's way of staying alive, to make money to continue to be, a staunch voice in the horror scene.
We are aghast and viciously upset at this turn of events. Unearthed Films and myself, will do everything we can to rectify this. NERDLY is an amazing website, that helped fans and film makers come together and to help push and promote films the mainstream corps, don't want you to know about or see.
Censorship, rears it's ugly little head now and then and by forcing a website, of this magnitude to go dark, just for a simple review, of my own fucking movie... is despicable and revolting thing.
NERDLY!!! Hit me up! I didn't know this was going on. I just found out about it now. Let me know what you need... I'll pay for your server space... I'll do what you need me to do... to keep you going.
I am so sorry... but I am here for you as you were for me.

The post about NERDLY was just the tip of the iceberg! It wasn't just because of us... our film BUT, the film was pointed out as wrong and then due to it, actually looking at their site.... they found more shit wrong with it.
Google Adsense has a stipulation in there, that no, "VIOLENT" content can be shown on one of the sites that takes advantage of Google AdSense. The AGP review, was just the start and it got them in their cross-hairs. As a horror site, how can you NOT have a gory picture or two... and we are even talking about the mainstream films like Saw, Hostel and what not.
I am now finding out, that a LOT of sites... are having a hard time, staying alive. Just like the magazines, VOD channels, indie film makers and more.
I'm a busy guy... but this is tantamount to the horror industry. I know about the free wordpress websites and those on individual servers. Two totally different things... but this is my suggestion and before anyone else, jumps on it, reads my shit and tries to follow and rip it off... hucksters always do...
Let me see what we can do... Give me two days and see if I can figure out a way, to keep everyone kicking ass, alive and fucking working together... as a family but yet, different from each other.
The industry is in the can and we're all left feeding, to eat the crumbs that fall from the tables, from those who are sitting at bigger tables.
Let me see what I can do... Seriously... fuck this, all against each other bullshit. Industry is squeezing, The independent scene is trying to expand but the fan base, is smaller then ever. Whatever retailers are left, they're shrinking. Sales have dropped 80 fucking percent, all across the board. Even the porn industry is riding on this train down to Hell...
We got to circle the wagons, we have to dig in and get ready to make a stand. If we don't, everyone who doesn't, will be picked off by the wolves.

Stephen Biro

Fun weekend... It was great seeing everyone at Days of the Dead again. It sort of sucked as well... Hotels were sold out, everywhere. I guess, Hillory Clinton was in town, as well as the Dali Lama... and freaking Lady Gaga.... and 20,000 female volleyball players... I had to get a hotel room... 10 freaking miles away. Figured I would use Uber to go back and forth, but when you loose your phone... not a cool thing to happen sort of squelches that idea. Thank you to whoever it was, that found my phone and turned it in. <3
Got in yesterday and started working like a madman... Actor contracts are now out to all of the actors for AGP Song of Solomon, Screenplay is finalized and sent out to everyone. Locations are in the BAG!!! All props and costumes are finalized... FX work is already starting and once I get the contracts back, will make a press release for everyone that is involved. Shit, I have to come up with a synopsis for Song... Mmmmmm Have to come up with it and still leave the suprises we have in store for you with it. This is going to be tough. Should work on it now.
Didn't get much sleep last night but I managed to get that all done and went to bed around 12 in the afternoon. Woke up at 8:30 and back to work.
So... I'm taking it easy today and taking the day off. Debating on a haircut... Shit... I need to contact Julie Strain... Shit... I have to sign and scan the contract for AGP: Bloodshock for release in Japan. Shit, I have to write up another contract for another film for japan as well... Rotten Cotton T-Shirts for Bloodshock are being made now, I should update the indiegogo campaign for that. Damn it. Looks like my day isn't over as I think about all that I need to do. Oh shit, Sitges, film fest in New York, ah, another press release on films we picked up for release. Sheep Skin is doing very well... AH! Need to follow up with everyone that got screeners. Mecanix press release with Atroz, Francesca and Bloodshock info and specs.
Guess I am not going to take a day off. Fuck it, I can do it tomorrow? Can I? Naw... back to work for me...

Industry is changing... torrents are killing the indie industry. I'm working on a deal, to rectify it but it won't. Might slow it down a little, at least for the people I work with.
The horror industry is NOTHING like it used to be. I know, we handle a lot of films for international and domestic, not only for distro but for actual sales to other companies. Unearthed is in the thick of it, were actually selling a lot of films, to a lot of other companies. Doing 4K scans for others to get the kudos. We have been dealing with jealousy and bullshit with websites, people and others who have no clue, what we are actually doing behind the scenes.
We understand... some horror sites, just post flavor of the week, but they don't know the behind the scenes. A lot post about the horror fan favorites we all come to enjoy and love... but none of you know, Unearthed has their hands in it. NONE OF YOU DO!
Okay... here, I will spill the beans on this... Who do you think just sold Halloween, one thru fucking three to Japan?
Unearthed did. Let that little tidbit, wallow around in your brain for a little bit. I can name drop so many other films, that every site and every horror fan, would fucking respect Unearthed in ways, you could never guess. Shit, the deal we are working on, right now would make all of you, drool with anticipation. Will we release these, three measly movies? Nope... easier to sell them to a company or two that the mainstream horror sites, respect and post about everything they do.
Unearthed Classics is about to be announced. Shit, we handle such big films, we don't release... I would LOVE TO but it's easier to sell them to other companies.
We have sites, that don't bother to announce our press releases, people who think, were just an indie extreme gore label. We are, but we're so much more than that. Shit is going to be changing, news and word is going to get out for all the films we handle and sell.
We are, the horror genre's dirty little secret but in this day and age, with piracy rampant, torrents killing the indie film scene and not getting the respect we deserve for staying in business for over 14 years and watching so many other companies, getting the kudos for films we sold them, making their releases happen... yeah...
Hopefully, the actual horror industry realizes were not only a driving force in the horror industry, but a major factor in most of the major releases in some way, shape or form.
So want to spill the beans... but next time, we're in the Warner Bros vaults... I'll think back, to this post and say to myself, "Horror fans would shit their pants, if they know what we are doing."
I'm busy... shouldn't have gone on a tirade... but shit is happening to where I have to change things up again. Every-time, I feel were solid, shit happens. Just got to change and morph into something different... just tired of shifting into a new business model that has to change every year.
It's the business aspect of this industry. We will change, we will morph, and continue to kick ass...
My rant, might even delete it... so much in the works, might not even tell you what we do to make things happen. I have contracts to write... if your lucky to read this, before I get buyers remorse, enjoy.

IF you missed the Bloodshock Indiegogo Limited Editions... go to www.unearthedfilms.com (http://www.unearthedfilms.com) and get em fast, while we still have some left over. Lower runs then Bouquet... so will sell out of em faster. Nov 9th is the release date for AGP: Bloodshock for mainstream retailers.
GAH!!!! Going thru all of the left over props and perks for both Bloodshock and Bouquet. Going to offer what's left on a special FB page with pics and such.
Going out of my mind to be honest. AGP: The Song of Solomon is in the works and we start shooting on the 15th of JULY!!! Need to start scheduling all of the actors and finalize plane tickets from those in LA. DOUBLE GAHHH! Location is mine from July 6th to July 29th... it's gorgeous yet, foreboding. Will head up there on the 6th, get the keys and enjoy myself, relax before cast and crew start showing up.
This is my most ambitious project to date, lots of moving parts. Massive amounts of FX from some truly bad ass FX people. Lots of characters and dammit... lines in Latin... going for balls to the wall authenticity on this, my take on the possession genre.
Damn, need to send out a press release for all upcoming titles/specs/editions... will do it tonight.
I am excited but up to my eyeballs in work. Mike Sandlin will be handling ALL shipping for Unearthed and everything now... July is Song of Solomon month for me and cast and crew.
Debating on doing a video diary for people who join a membership to a private channel... but that would take up time, but who knows.

Still catching up on emails and IM's. It's been nonstop this month... Mecanix is out and available on VOD thru all cable platforms, ATROZ will be hitting mid August with a 3 disc set and then FRANCESCA, Sept 27th with another 3 disc set... skipping October since we have some amazing stuff out and a shit load of crap will be hitting for that month all across the board. The big corps and everyone else jump on the wagon and flood the market with Halloween stuff. Why flood the market for a month when we release superior horror product a couple of months ahead of time? I never see a jump in sales due to the flood... going to let our films, speak for themselves and be available before hand... It's better for the film makers and everyone involved since sales of films, aren't a mad dash like it used to be, but just put on lists to pick up when spare money is available... which is totally understandable in this day and age.
AGP: Bloodshock hits in November... then it's followed by some other awesome films we haven't announced yet.
I think, the haze of shooting, The Song of Solomon is finally lifting. I have to get some of the pics from Jessica Cameron and Scott Gabbey that were taken on set. Jessica, "Mania and Truth or Dare" has some amazing pictures as well as Gabbey from "Ultra Violent Magazine" they have the goods to melt minds. I have some pics but was too busy, running around like a chicken without a head during the whole shoot.
I do apologize... for not being on social media like I should have. Not answering emails or IM's that so many others do and can. Running Unearthed, making the American Guinea Pig Series and doing international sales and negotiations for films... has me busy beyond belief and pushing a social media presence is actually back burner stuff when it shouldn't be. So much going on, that needs my full attention in the business realm of the industry... hard to keep up with that, much less show you my eggs and bacon for breakfast and such. (Author note) Cast and crew did get eggs and bacon for breakfast on SOS... I either didn't eat or just ate the remnants... stayed up for days at a time, Running on empty most of the time... but was energized due to what we were making.
Anyway... still catching up. Please excuse me for my dalliances
Going over footage in my spare time. Editing is happening right now and soundtrack is in the works. Not in a rush... Bloodshock isn't even out yet. Watching the dailies... flabbergasted and amazed at what I am seeing. Thank you all for allowing me to push the envelope and manage to continue to grow as a film maker and a writer. I couldn't do this without you.
Death and Dismemberment,

Still catching up with work... but my head is finally back to normal. This shoot was intense. I'm going over the footage for Song of Solomon and I am at a loss for words.
Everything was nailed, everyone kicked ass and now the grueling task of editing, scoring and pick ups is on the menu.
Can't wait to drop the stills on this baby... argh... and cut the trailer for this but that will be awhile.
Wonderful thing is, while waiting for this monster... we will have Atroz, Francesca and the retail release of AGP: Bloodshock hitting soon... Did I mention all of these will be 3 disc sets? Blu/dvd/cd combos?
More announcements coming soon... Unearthed Classics taking a bit longer since 4k scans and restoration takes a bit but will announce soon enough.
Releases of AGP: Bloodshock for Germany and Japan will be announced soon. It's starting to get exciting... hope you are all ready for the ride.

My honest moment for the day... American Guinea Pig. It is my destiny. LOL I have wanted to add to the series since I first bought and handled the rights for it, back in 2002. I love the series, even though some of them, sort or meh. LOL But they were fucking hard-core... pulled no punches and went for your throat. They changed due to media exposure and became classics due to their unrepentant showcasing of extreme cinema.
I have been working on this new series, since 2002. That means, that I have been trying to get this made, for over 14 years. That is 1 7th of my life... trying to make an un-repentant gore series by horror fans, for horror fans. How many can say that? No one... lets be honest.
The film industry is ten times worse then it's ever been. But I feel, I am doing something unique and different that no one, not a single person is doing in the horror industry. This is my burden and this is who I am.
I understand, I could never accomplish, any of this without the people I am working with. I'm not going to tag you on this post. I just want you to realize... you are what made this happen. Without you... it would just be me, with my dreams and nightmares... stuck in my head.
All of you, brought amazement to the series and understood, that it would be a timeless film or showcase of your own talents that would stand the test of time.
As we grow, as we move ahead in this industry. We understand that so many films are thrown away, never repeated and quickly forgotten. They don't stand the test of time... These will... so unigue, uncomprimising and yet, not desperate to push the envelope but yet, trully, original and have something to say. They stick out, like a soar thumb.
I don't even know why I am posting this. It's probably becasue I know,,, and understand who I have been working with and realizing that I couldn't do ANYTHING without them.
I am lucky, I have the best friends in the business and they want to work with me. I'm nobody and no one. I am lucky that these people see me for who I am, I hope, that I can continue to move beyond what I am doing and continue to work and make their lives better as well as my own.
Call me stupid, the film industry is terrible, but I have found, some amazing people in this industry and I will do everything and anything to make their lives better and help them in anyway shape or form.
People may mention my name... alone, but I am not alone. I have a family, a crew, people who trust in me while, I trust in them with my heart and soul. I am alone in this universe but, I am never alone.
Why did I post this? It's because I have a best friend, going thru hard times, that he refuses my help. I can understand but fuck... I can actually help. None of my family should ever go thru shit without me helping. Your my family, your a part of me...I need to help you, otherwise, how can I say, your family?
I digress... it hurts to want to help a family member who refuses. Thank you, everyone who is a part of anyhing I am doing and realize, you now have a Creepy Uncle Biro in your corner.
Creepy Uncle Biro,
Stephen Biro
PS: I have no clue why my nickname became CREEPY Uncle Biro... LOL I never juiced the drinks, or casting couch or tried or hit on anyone on set. Figure it made people feel better about themselves, tearing me down. LOL No worries, I get worse...

Good day today. Couple of meetings, stuff in the works. Fixing up the apartment. Gonna be an interesting year to say the least.
Still trying to get used to the time difference here in LA. Traffic and people, yeah, quite a bit of that. But not bad when you know it. The time difference is what is getting me. Used to be three hours, in the future... now I'm three hours in the past.
But a lot in the works. I don't think anyone has an inkling of what's coming. Think it is awesome that way. Needs to happen that way.
For those of you, that don't understand why I moved to LA, aka Hollywood. I will tell you why.
1: I'm a ghost writer, screenwriter and I fix screenplays and don't get credit for it, but I do get paid well for it. Don't mind this aspect at all.
2: I think, I can get some of my indie filmmakers budgets for their next films.
3: I can push and promote Unearthed in ways, I could never in Florida.
4: I can help film makers, not only rescue their films from bad deals, but make sure they get paid.
5: I can meet with reps high up and low down and hopefully get what we need for everyone to move forward and up.
6: Can meet with my friends and business partners weekly and move forward to advance the Unearthed agenda, my agenda and their own. Phone calls are nice, but personally being there is priceless.
7: To meet people I have never met before. To offer, me... services to them and to hopefully, have them offer their services to me. I'm going to need a lot of people if the plans set up, actually happen.
8: Some great people in the mix, ya know, those who are out for themselves and those who know, a film is made by the whole town... and not themselves. These are the people who are amazing. When you see a talent, diamond in the rough. .. it needs polishing, but when it shines, it shines most brightest.
9: I prefer to be behind the scenes. Solomon was supposed to be the last In the AGP Series. Seven other film makers were supposed show us their moxie before I shot this. Since I knew what the film was, needed and ready... it became the third. Schedule changes and a series has to move forward, so it can continue. Hence Solomon, supposed to be the cherry on top. Lol now it's the banana in the banana split. Lol gotta figure out the cherry for you guys, luckily... I think I got it for you.
Don't mind me. Just wanted to say something since I've had some idiots and assholes, Try to rip me apart, for bothering to move to Los Angeles. Some people are afraid of change. Others think it is selling out... all I see is, I can push, promote, work with people I couldn't before. Help my friends and indie film makers to hopefully move up the ladder and get some of them work, get paid and onto the next thing.
I stayed in Florida for as long as I could. But when climbing the ladder of life and when you hit that rung, and can't move ahead... you either jump or go, sit back on your couch.
It's like your first murder. Hesitant, until the knife digs into a chest... then you realize your fucked, attempted murder... better to do it and try to clean up the mess... then the spiral into serial killer mode. 10 bodies later, your like, fuck. I need to move out of Florida.... Los Angeles sounds about right.
Lol I have no clue what I am saying. Hopefully the district attorney in Tampa doesn't read this. Where is the delete button? Is this it, It says publish?

AWESOME THREE DAYS!!! Talking mind blowing, new films for Unearthed... will be writing a screenplay and producing a very exciting film with a man I deeply respect. Master materials for one film, went over... hunting down a director that is hard to nail down for a new 4k scan of something from HP Lovecraft... Getting all the master materials for another film... to make the ultimate directors edition... fuck, might even help him sell props from the film. Helping a film maker or two, rescue their films from bad deals... Shit... what else... still working on the subs for Deodatos Lillith's Hell, Working on what could turn out to be a secret surprise no one saw coming...
Bad things... My phone is shitty and needs to be replaced. It's so fucking dry out here... I wake up with cotton mouth everyday. I need to drink more water actually. This humid loving boy from Florida is a dried out husk here. Sativa is not my bag anymore... Indica is... One hit off Sativa... fucks with my head too much. And I still need a microwave. I could have bought a microwave at the goodwill but was talking to an important person in my life... BUT... I did buy Taffy a scratching post... shits, it's in my trunk... let me get it for him. (Pause)
Got it and poured catnip on it. Anyway... I'm excited... This weekend is going to be a treatment weekend! Got one... story is fleshed out, me and the director are working together closely. Need two more... for the opportunity to made into films... Have a couple from friends... (Spread the wealth when you can) Hell, just found out the budget is bigger then originally quoted... that means I can dust off a couple of over the top screenplays I wrote during the awesome option phase of my writing career.
So! I am very excited... all across the board. I think I have a raging boner right now... (looks down.) Yep Raging boner. LOL

Not sure if you guys heard yet, but Unearthed will be releasing an Ultimate Directors Cut of Serbian Film.

No date has been mentioned, only that they will release it.

I for myself will grab the release just to see the bonus features they will offer. But, hoping this happens sooner than later as Serbian Film is a personal favorite of mine.

Some advice on filmmaking Biro was giving another filmmaker.

Quote
Stephen Biro
Stephen Biro; Go dark... if your in a dark place, than the darkness will shine. Go goofy comedy, if that's where you are... trying to make a goofy comedy when you want to kill everyone, will make a shit storm that will be forgotten.

Here is my take, not worth much really. Swing for the fences, make the best you can make! Make a film that can be watched a year from now. Make a film that can be watched ten years from now... fuck, make a film that can be watched 30 years from now. That is the test of time.

Don't make a film for a 3 month sales and that's it. Make one that stands the test of time. Make whats in your heart... trust me. Making something and a year or two from now, you know you phoned it in and than making something, that at anytime, people will watch is a total difference in film makers. and your proud of... is more satisfying then a 100 films u couldn't give a fuck about.

Today... was another meeting day... Met with Jason Koch, Alyssa McClellan yesterday and hammered out, "To Become Unholy" which is shooting in March. Amazing announcements coming soon about it. I think people will shit bricks. <3

Basically, tons of meetings these past three days, some secret, others will be announced soon. Todd Sheets and his crew just left my house... they are here for the LA premiere of Bonehill Road. Meeting after meeting, tons of excitement in the air... Red Krokodil hit the shelves on Tuesday and gaining momentum. I haven't even announced Februaries releases since so much is going on. Go to www.unearthedfilms.com (http://www.unearthedfilms.com) to see what's coming up.

Massive amounts of work going on behind the scenes... I've never been this busy in my life but it's a good thing. The move to Los Angeles was a wise decision. Fucking 48 years old and I could only do so much, living in Florida. I took the leap and it's working ou veryt well.

Production, writing, producing, distribution, international sales, working with a lot of different companies and filmmakers now. Not including my own directing and promo on my own stuff.

I just have to say, "Thank you, everyone who are a part of the Unearthed Family. We're growing in leaps and bounds and without you, we wouldn't have the chance to grow at this rate and become the label, that so many people want to see, grow and thrive in today's climate."

We're independent... No one tells us what to do... we just do it. Some amazing stuff in the works... so hard to keep it to myself, but I am.

What I really have to say is, "2018 is going to be a whirlwind."

Very tired... trying to take a day off today but, that usually never works. Tons in the works, luckily I don't do this all by myself. Suzie Ayala and Gene Palubicki help with the social media. I thank the Lord for them. Jimmy Klaus does our authoring and is our go to guy if we hit tech problems. David Hood is our graphic designer and website master. He's also the editor for Solomon and now the Serbian Film Extended Cut. Jay Kay has been helping with the extra's for the UF Classics line. We just ran into a snag with Nightwish, a couple of frames are fuzzy or have dust on them and a problem with the audio but we have different tracks for sound to use, so it won't be a problem, just takes a bit more time. Waiting on extra's from Adrian Corona for DIS staring Bill Oberst Jr. Also working on alternate poster artwork.

I feel bad cause Unearthed is growing at an exponential rate so everyone is working their ass off and due to the amount of films we have, waiting to be announced, authored, updated, dvd cover art, extras and such... we are always behind. With the release of Solomon... we have 13 films after that... one a month for over a year and a lot more films were picking up now. Might have to hire a couple of people as we move forward. Growing pains... The Song of Solomon dvd's blu's and Sacrifice dvd's and Blu's are ready tomorrow. I have to drive out to the desert tomorrow where the manufacturer is and pick them up. Then get as many of the cast and crew together to sign them then the shipping... I just wrote two new treatments for films... one for Srdjan Spasojevic and another for a sequel to a major cult classic film that will blow minds away... will work on the screenplay when approved by the higher ups on the totem pole. Trying to figure out what to do next with AGP... I'm working on the website as we speak. That should have been done years ago but nobody had the time so I'm taking control of it, myself.

Just signed an amazing new horror film... will announce soon, as well as the other new amazing horror films as soon as we finalize poster artwork and special features. The people I work with, don't want me to direct anything less then a quarter million now. I'm like, "I don't have a quarter million." They say, "We do." We will see... but then again, the above referenced sequel to a beloved horror film... and they are loving the Solomon reviews and how we pulled it off with a small budget compared to what they normally do. Solomon is my biggest budgeted film so far and they are amazed at what we accomplished. So we shall see, I don't hold my breath when it comes to other people but who knows. Solomon isn't out yet and opportunities are picking up.

We have a lot of secrets that are going to be announced this quarter year... and it will continue. I'm actually just tired. I've been trying to work with other film makers and sometimes, that blows up in my face. Been dealing with jealousy a bunch lately. I don't know why, but the film industry is an ego driven, bullshit arena that I don't want to be in... but in, all the same. Fame and fortune... why do people do it? And if you mix that into it... shit can go to Hell real quick. I try to stay out of it, got too much to do to worry about what people think or do or the success they get. Good for you! Kick some ass! Your success or failure isn't going to stop me from doing what I am doing.

I just wanted to vent a little bit, cause the future is bright and were busier now more then ever. Never tried this News Feed post so trying it out to see what happens. It's Sunday so enjoy the rest of your day, I will...

Death and Dismemberment,

Stephen Biro

I want to personally apologize to everyone on my FB page.

I know this is my personal page but we have so much going on... that I don't have a lot of time, to be myself. New horror films, every month. T-shirts coming out of the woodwork, toys in the works, production of 2 new films in the AGP Series, Release of Purgatory Road by Mark Savage, release of DIS from Adrian Corona, Release of Todd Sheets House of Forbidden Secrets, release of Takashi Hirose's Brutal, picking up titles for the UF Classics label, Libraries of films for catalog release, The Unearthed Films Group, Too Extreme for Mainstream Label, conventions, appearances, screenings, Roku Channel, VOD Channels, our new comedy podcast, Stephen and Brad: The Podcast, international sales, sales to other companies. The Serbian Documentary, Extended Cut of A Serbian Film. We're even working on a sequel to a beloved 80's film that only my inner circle know about. The announcement will melt minds. And we are looking at some amazing new films we are working with that I can't even announce yet!

And this is only the beginning to be told. So much amazing product is coming your way, as horror fans, I can get a little giddy knowing what is in store for everyone.

So much is in the works and I just wanted to apologize for the rampant work posts, I post instead of my own, silly self.

I mean... 2019 is going to become insane. The Song of Solomon is out as well as Sacrifice so I have a breather BUT... with so many amazing films coming out now and all of the above that I mentioned in the works. I apologize if I can't take the time to like, share, comment and promote others works except our own..

It's going to become ridiculous actually. So I just wanted to apologize to all of you but thank you all... on allowing us to grow after 20 years in the horror industry. I think the only thing we are not doing is comic books but... we have talked about it. :-) Open to suggestions. LOL

Sneek Peak at our toy line up.

Getting closer... on A Serbian Film Ultimate Edition. Sorry for the delay BUT... re-editing one of the major extreme releases of the decade... has been taking a lot more time then we thought. It's not just adding in scenes, extending scenes, color correction for the ultimate edition... it's also the sound track, adding sounds that were never made or produced for the film, extending the glorious soundtrack, mixing all of it together so it's not noticeable in the new 4k transfer with color correction from the orginal materials. .

Our work is cut out for us... more announcements coming soon. A ton more...

The new film, A Record of Sweet Murder directed by Kōji Shiraishi (Grotesque, Noroi: The Curse "On Shudder", A Slit-Mouth Woman and Sadako vs. Kayako also available on Shudder is set for May 28th!

Dark Side of the Moon is set for June 11th and will have a limited edition slip sleeve for the 1st printing. All new 4K transfer/restoration, extra's, interviews, sound clean up. You know... the hook up.

Working on the restoration 4K transfer of Night Wish and working on the artwork.Hard to find people to interview for extra's so that sort of sucks.

The 1st in the line of Too Extreme For Mainstream is coming down the pike. 1st film will be TORMENT from director Domiziano Cristopharo based off the John Wayne Gacy Murders in ultra disturbing detail. For you hard-core collectors out there... be prepared to jump on this one... will only be a 30 day presale window and will only be manufactured to orders, ordered. Once it is gone, it is gone. Expect this to hit in APRIL! Will also come in an amazing awesome collectors edition with something that has never been seen, done or imagined in the collectors market.

4k Transfer and restoration for The Grand Tour: Disaster in TIme is in the works. Just went over the restored scenes for dust and blemishes last night and it looks amazing. Yes, I know it is Sci Fi and starring Jeff Daniels but hey, part of the UF Classics line up. What can I say... were growing.

The script is in the works for the next AGP Film... more details coming soon...

Well shit... lets give up all the cards....

The figures for AGP Bouquet of Guts and Gore are almost finished... working on the packaging as we speak... a bit harder since their 7 3/4s size I think. Hand poured and painted by one of our own, Justin Tsantsa. The 1st in our line of Unearthed Toys.

Unearthed Records are in the works... some on my personal profile know what's coming... so just debating on the quantity.

A Serbian Documentary is now being worked on in Serbia...

Storyboards and props will be offered again soon A Serbian Film. Story boards will be priced in all different prices for everyone to get one. Props will be the same prices as before. We don't haggle! LMAO

Solomon and Sacrifice left overs from the indiegogo are going up for sale soon on the UF site. Everything, posters, patches, buttons and props. Not many left but... will have some awesome stuff that will go faster then the 1st two since we have such limited quantities.

Contracts signed for some amazing films to be announced soon. We got a couple that are going to blow minds.

Well... to be honest, I am not giving up all the cards. Lots in the works... lots... it's going to be an interesting year for Unearthed.Thank you all for helping us to get to this position.

Question to the UF family.

As you know, we are working on the extended cut of A Serbian Film. Also the documentary but that is now out of my hands and in Srdjan's in Serbia.

I have a glorious new color corrected 4k version of Serbian Film. Never before seen outside of the LA screening we did at the Exhibition we put on for it. Then we will have the extended cut... in 4K, it's really close to being done. Were working hard on it and can't just throw it out there half assed. Working on the sound and color for the extra 6 1/2 minutes we have added to it.

My question is... should we offer all of the different cuts of the film from every territory? For posterity?

Should we do a release of the new version from the new 4K master as a stand alone. Another as the extended cut as a single and then a mad house version with everything in a crazy multi disc version? The cut versions would be extras.

Let me know what you think...

PS: Our version of the artwork has the director in the red slash... so people will know what the true uncut and extended cut is... The new poster was just for the exhibition which I will be offering again because... it was limited to 50 copies and 30 of them were damaged by a table pushed over at the exhibition and Jaegermeister was spilled over 30 copies left. I will be meeting with Srdjan this month to rectify this situation. There might even be pictures of me starring at the mess.

I ordered 30 more copies that day but they didn't arrive until after Srdjan left for Serbia. Sort of sucks but... what you gonna do? You fucking wait to make it right and in April... everything will be listed again.

When eBay cut us off... sort of fucked up a lot for us... But fuck it, where in it to win it... shit can take time and as long as we come thru... then all is awesome sauce.

This figure will be up for pre sale. It will cost about 100 bux. They are hand painted and crafted. Also they will be doing a playset that this figure will fit into. It will be with the girl Amy, and she'll be laying on a table all cut up and shit. Also  a serbian film is done. It's in the sound guys hands right now, could be another 3 weeks to a month. Oh yeah, they are only making 75 figures.

Now the MOST important news, hes gonna announce the film for the next AGP film! Thats the most happy news for me! And when The Editor figure goes up for sale.  :black_heart: Do not know when that will be.

I'm excited to see the Editor Figure.  Can't justify 100 bucks for a figure though.  Correct me if I'm wrong but was Vanbeeber the editor? And can't wait to hear what the next AGP will be, Key of Solomon? Or something else?

Thanks for the heads up.  I hold the first one up very highly.  I love the first four from Japan and flowers of flesh and blood is an time favorite of mine so the first AGP, scratched that itch perfectly.

Unearthed Films is proud to announce that we are now the exclusive distributor for all Plotdigger Films releases.
Yes, the rumors are true! Our first release will be Nicholson's FAMINE, which has never had a release in the US.

Here’s a list of the films we will be releasing on Blu-ray from the Plotdigger Films library (in no particular order):

GUTTERBALLS
LIVE FEED
HANGER
TORCHED
STAR VEHICLE

PLUS BIG FUCKING MONSTER (Never seen before. We are working on the post and edit to complete the film)

AND (Drum Roll………) GUTTERBALLS 2!!!

Yeah, Yeah, I know. I’m sure there are a lot of people who are pissed off at Ryan Nicholson because he didn’t deliver on his INDIEGOGO promises, BUT here’s the good news! In a heartfelt effort to rectify the situation, Unearthed Films is working closely with Ryan to edit the GUTTERBALLS 2 footage and complete the film so that it can be distributed and delivered to all those fans who put up their hard earned money to support the INDIEGOGO campaign. Regrettably, GUTTERBALLS 3 will never see the light of day as no footage was shot.

Let me tell you the reasons why I’ve decided to work with Ryan Nicholson to try and make things right, not just for fans of GUTTERBALLS but for his whole library.

As some of you may know, Ryan Nicholson was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor while working on GUTTERBALLS 2 and GUTTERBALLS 3. He soon became deathly ill but managed to finish the shoot of GB2 (but not GB3). Fortunately, he had successful brain surgery to stop the cancer but poking around in the brain can also have negative consequences. The surgery resulted in personality changes and work on some of his films was put on hold as other medical conditions surfaced. To this day, Ryan is still dealing with medical problems resulting from the surgery.

Unearthed Films released Ryan’s film COLLAR some years back and he liked what we did with the release. He also knew that we have the ability to do postproduction in house and that we could help in bringing some of his lost movies into the light of day. It made sense therefore for us to come together and work on his films. We plan to get them completed, delivered, distributed AND to clean up the INDIEGOGO mess.

Here’s what we plan to do. To all those people who purchased GB2 and GB3 from the suspended INDIEGOGO campaign, we will be offering the completed GB2 plus BIG FUCKING MONSTER. These will be free of charge and we’ll pay for the postage. This way, INDIEGOGO customers will be receiving two new films as was originally intended. IF the INDIEGOGO campaign left a bad taste in your mouth and you don't want BIG FUCKING MONSTER, we will let you choose a Blu-ray or DVD from the Unearthed Films catalog to make up the difference. We hope this will go a long way to rectifying the situation and be some kind of compensation for the trouble caused. We will be contacting everyone who pre-bought from the INDIEGOGO campaign to find out how you want to proceed.

To be honest, Ryan Nicholson is very lucky to still be alive. Unearthed Films is stepping in, not only as fans but also as Ryan’s new distributor and business partner, in order to try and make everything right. We believe this is the least we can do for everyone involved including the Unearthed Films fans and family, for all Ryan Nicholson and Plotdigger fans, and also for his haters and people pissed off at the situation. We are confident that we can make this right (or at least somewhat right) and certainly an improvement on the present situation. Ryan needs our help to make this a reality and the fans who made GB2 possible need our help in order to get delivery of the film they ordered long ago.

I realize I may get a lot of hate for taking this on... but fuck it. The way I look at it is... we are all family in the small corner of the horror industry where we reside and flourish... sometimes we need help to make things right and I’m lucky enough to be in a position to help in some way, shape or form and I’m going to do that.

To recap, FAMINE will be Unearthed Films first release in a series of “never before seen” movies from Plotdigger. We will be finalizing BIG FUCKING MONSTER while others on the Unearthed Films team will be working from scratch on the edit of GUTTERBALLS 2 in order to complete the film as was originally envisioned by Ryan. The only version of GB2 that has ever been shown was a cobbled together “film festival” version. It was a speed edit by someone who had no experience and is not reflective of what the film could be. I know this because I’ve looked through the dailies and there’s some damn good stuff in there. Meanwhile, Ryan will be working on the statues of the BBK that were ordered through INDIEGOGO to get them finished. As for the collectors’ sets that promised two additional versions of GB2 and GB3 (the “bootleg” and “pin-atration” cuts) we’re probably not going to do these. The “bootleg” cut with unlicensed music is particularly problematic.

I hope this is positive news (even great news!) for everyone. It means BIG FUCKING MONSTER, FAMINE and GUTTERBALLS 2 will see the light of day and all the previously released films will be on Blu-ray. If we’re lucky, we may also get our hands on another “never before seen” Nicholson film called CANNIBAL LIPSTICK. We are trying to locate the footage and hope to make this a reality too.

In addition to all the above, we are working behind the scenes on a lot of other exciting projects and will have news on these soon.
Death and Dismemberment,

Stephen Biro

Great news, about time Ryan got a proper distributer that actually understands what the fans of this genre want...and can fulfil orders!

Man he got some retards to do the business side of things fuck  :cantlook:

Just glad these films are finally getting out there, God knows being waiting for B.F.M. like forever, hopefully it was worthwhile.

As for the others I won't double buy and doubt I will purchase another copy of Famine....BUT do feel a lot of people will dig it's take on the teen slasher! Didn't mind the killer and the kills/gore!

I see why people are/were upset with him. But I feel he gets a pass cause he almost DIED and had brain cancer...wtf, fuck money lost, the man almost lost his life. Anyway glad hes better and on the mend and Biro showed up to help. Good on you Stephen.  :red_heart:
