I have seen every episode of BB and have them all sets since season 1 except for last season and LOVE this tv show that has a great casy and crew in it and they have move many Golden Globes and Emmy's.

This is such a great tv show and this is their last season of it which is sad.

Incredible tv show. So well written, the cinematography is superb and acting is top notch. I watched the pilot and just kept thinking about Hunter S. Thomson's Fear and Loathing in LV. Very intense show and they just keep ramping it up each episode. I think I watched the first 3 seasons in one long marathon. Could not put it down. Watching this show hypes me up so much I feel like I'm on meth, whatever that feels like.

As a huge fan of the show, I'm actually happy they are ending it soon. Storylines like this one need to end before they go too far. The writers have done such an amazing job on this show. The characters are so... unlikeable yet likeable at the same time. It's one of those odd experiences where I find myself yelling at the screen "For fuck sakes, no Jesse!!! Don't fucking do it! Walt just stop! Fuck!". I'm interested in what Vince Gilliam will come up with next!

I'm happy they're ending it as well. I'll be sad when it's over but I think this is going to wrap up nicely. Favourite episode I think would be Crawl Space. The final scene flipped me out. Loved it. Really loved Dead Freight as well. LOL and I just remembered Gale singing Major Tom.

Thankgod for Dexter about to end. Greatest load of shit I have ever seen this last few episodes. Fucking embarrassing. It was always sort of background for me because I liked the opening clown music, but now I'm mesmerised by the fucking terrible writing

Grief stricken already, RIP. Compare my feelings for this amazing show ending to my feelings for Dexter ending tonight. I'm so fucking happy about that. The finale puts us out of our misery for how shit the writing team were this season. Goddamn it became embarrassing. They started writing for 13 year old lovestruck girls who think Stephanie Meyer's Twilight is the best literature ever written.

I loved it and also how it shows the 2 Gray Matter couple in it and Walt gets in there house.

I don't wanna spoil it for everyone but this was a great finale and I'm gonna miss this show. Breaking Bad is my all time fave series and what a great cast and crew in it, Loved them all!!!

Perfect finale to officially the greatest TV drama of all time. This last episode didn't disappoint and was very satisfying tying up everything so neatly.

Oh well, at least there's still 'Game of Thrones' and 'Sons of Anarchy'. Although I think SOA is going to  finish next year. Of course there's 'Hannibal' too and 'Arrow' and 'Bates Motel' can also help to fill the void.

Seriously, did you even watch it or are you just trying to bait Dave? It's being hailed in newspaper articles around the world as the tv show that forever changed television.

If you havent seen it,  I suggest you give it a go, Oxy. Start from the pilot and watch in order. Even a rare goodlooking  central coast bogan of your limited neurons and taste in film would love this
Title: Re: Breaking Bad

I don't really watch TV shows in general. I caught the first few eps and thought it was overrated. I didn't hate it. But, if I could have the entire show for 5 cents, I'd be happier with the 5 cents.
Title: Re: Breaking Bad
Post by: JackT on October 01, 2013, 02:05:21 AM
LOL Great riposte, mate, but 5 cents wont buy you much these days.

Yeah I wasnt really into tv until a friend put me onto this with the golden carrot of lots of violence. It's almost taken over my love of movies. Violence, character development, script, cinematography, pertinent choice of music, clever foreshadowing. Twas a great ride.
Title: Re: Breaking Bad
Post by: General Ox on October 01, 2013, 02:13:57 AM
I've only watched six shows in full;

Munsters
Earthworm Jim
Invader Zim

And I borrowed Lost and the first two Underbelly's off a friend.

I watch Bates Motel, more due to my love of Psycho than anything, and Falling Skies.
Title: Re: Breaking Bad
Post by: JackT on October 01, 2013, 02:24:41 AM
I havent heard of Jim and Zim. Watched Lost but got fed up with it. Started watching Bates Motel which I thought looked great and showed promise. Gave up when it turned into The Hardy Boys in episode 2.

BB for me was excellent. Even the slow burn episodes were building up the tension and relationship dynamic. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. What's not to love about an exploding turtle bomb LOL. The only really stupid thing was AMC only allowed one 'Fuck' each season and it had to be bleeped out. WTF? Watch a guy get his head hacked off with a machete but cant hear the word fuck? That's just fucking ridiculous. Oh they cant show bewbs either so in the pilot where a woman is topless they had to edit in a bra. Unfuckingbelievable. I will never understand that kind of censorship.
Title: Re: Breaking Bad
Post by: General Ox on October 01, 2013, 02:31:26 AM
Invader Zim is hands down the most hilarious show ever to have been made. Such a shame it was too much for Nickelodeon and they axed it. Cunts.

IZ 01 - The Nightmare Begins (1/2) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LEVblUrVAcg#)

The first episode probably isn't the best but it sets everything up.

This says it all. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. So fuck off this thread and don't come back until you've watched every episode.

If a show can't rope me in with the first few episodes. It's failed in my opinion.

If I'm not overly captured I lose interest. Like anyone. I'm not going to keep watching it if I don't worthy. It worked for you, that's cool. It didn't work for me.

No you failed. :P

I understand you not getting into it in the first few episodes but the show really did grow in so much scope after that. The first seven episodes (making up the entire first season) was one long set-up of the things to come. I think if you had of stuck with it, it would have won you over eventually and you would have seen what all the fuss is about. It's flawless more so than some of the best films that you've seen. It's more cinematic than it is TV. The writing, the direction, the acting, the cinematography etc, makes for some of the finest television ever made.

OK I'm killing some time while waiting to pick up my husband and I'm bored.

Who are your favourite villains? For me it would have to be Tuco. He was just insane and very menacing. Plus he worse nice shirts and had a great grill

Loved the twins. Freaking scary guys.

Loved Gus but his accent (he's not a spanish speaker) kind of dragged me out of the moment a bit.

Loved Don Eladio (I must have a thing for latino men)

Uncle Jack - awesome bad guy.

Best dribbler - Tio

Best nice guy - Huell. He's probably still sitting on that couch in the hotel room waiting for pizza.

Best douchebag - Ted without a doubt.

Best whiner - Marie.

Best scumbag - Saul.

Best comedy duo - say no more. Beaver and Butthead.

Best whore - crazy teeth Wendy. Oh no hang on a minute, best crazy teeth were skank and Splooge.

Best bromance - Walt and Jesse...threesome with Mike. I loved Mike. Equal place for best bromance goes to Hank and Gomie.

Best right hook - Hank.

Have I forgotten anyone?

Oh best dorks - Elliott and Gretchen.

Best Beige wearer - Skyler.

Best eyebrows - LOL

Who was Lydia again? Was that Gus' wife?
Title: Re: Breaking Bad
Post by: JackT on October 11, 2013, 09:26:32 PM
Gus didnt have a wife. She was the uptight woman who worked for madrigal, organised the meth (first the barrel then the train robbery) and Mike wanted dead. It's because of her that Mike ended up getting killed

This is Lydia

In the finale Walt put ricin in the stevia packet which she then put in her tea. Lydia called Todd after Walt met with the neo nazis to ask if  it was done yet (knocking off Walt). Todd was already dead and Walt picked up the phone. Remember Todd's ring tone 'Lydia the tattoed lady'. Walt asked her how she was feeling and said he gave her ricin and she was about to die, then he hung up on her

AIR PUNCH MOMENT!

(BTW . . . how cool is this:  Just found out that Giancarlo Esposito, who played one of the all-time greatest villains, "Gus Fring", is gonna be a Guest at a convention I might be a Guest at myself!  Nothing's set in stone yet, but I'm excited about the possiblity and just had to share!)

I confess…

But in stating this amazing fact I want to, I just take my time into getting into these things. Was the same with American Horror Story as well! Have always done this since the simp son's first came out in Australia back when I was in High School.

You know the only show I watched from the very first time it was aired was The X Files.

I was late coming into it too.  Didn't start till I think Season 4 was airing.  And then it was one of those marathon viewing sessions to get caught up.  I was hooked.
