Someone just bought this film a few months ago, they wrote about it in the Unearthed Films group, thats how I found out about it. I rented it on Prime.

I'll check up on where they purchased it.

Looks interesting, had to check to see if it was feature length, don't know why I thought it was a short film. Atmosphere seems right.

This film is a tad fucked up, the ending mostly.  :shifty:

That kind of lowers my interest a bit.. yeah I know that Psycho/TCM is based on Ed Gein (not really though, just the basic elements), but that's just f'ed up not disturbing.  They already made another film about that case - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6813264/ (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6813264/) , but something just loosely based on it.. reminds me of another film that came out recently that did that.. it was an Aussie film forget the name.. doesn't work for me, I prefer a (relatively) straight telling if it's true crime like Polytechnique - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194238/ (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194238/) or Out of the Blue - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0839938/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0839938/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2) , even Snowtown - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1680114/?ref_=nv_sr_1 (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1680114/?ref_=nv_sr_1)

(I used to be a true crime buff so know a bit about this)

Looked up a bit about the film and read a review about it that confirmed the director took exact details from the James Belger case for its final scene. And apparently they show everything.
Really seems like the kind of film that would make me sick to my stomach, so of course I bought it. Waiting for it to arrive in the mail.

I know what they did.. of course what they would show in a film is not real, or it would be a crime.
