Not necessary all I got.  Oh and nothing will be beat when he wakes up from his nightmare and rolls out of bed and SMASHES his face on the end table. I'm laughing out loud as i type this.  If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up, watch it. Pure gold

Some nice masks; pity the movie is going to suck shit as it has no soul! Even the part of the poster where it states Based on Stephen King's Terrifying Novel speaks loads to me!

But in stating this on first glance this did pique my interest as I love the original movie....and the book though haven't read in a long time.

Shame they don't take a story that hasn't been done yet or one of the ones made into a telemovie...by a writer and director who could do justice to a story!

Splat. You hit the nail on the head. It Has NO SOUL.  Thank you none of these mainstream horror movies do. It's a shame.

It really is. And it isn't just the Horror genre either. Almost genre of film is soulless now, almost everything coming out of remake, reboot, rewhatever.  And it sucks the life of the film away to make it non offensive and or challenges the movie goer.  We need more directors that want to challenge the audience make them think, make them feel something. Not a mind numbing experience to pass the night

I don't think this looks that bad to be honest. I normally don't watch straight forward horror films, but I'm looking forward to this one.  :embarrassed2: :shame:

Enjoy

As for remakes, like them if they are sincere.

I hope you enjoy it.

And i agree you on that also Splat.  THE Fly, the Thing, and the Blob all perfect examples of the remake done right.

Problem with these is pristine images but lacks character.

I did like the Nightmare on Elm Street remake though.

Only thing that interests me with this is Lithgow. Always been a fan of his. It'll be intriguing to compare his performance to Gwynne's in the original. The rest looks too clean and uninspiring.
