A nameless man wanders the city, littered with necrotic artifacts and a trail of corpses. Are his grotesque hallucinations clues to a violent past? Or are they premonitions?

After alittle difference of opinion, alittle hurt feelings, I finally watched this film in which I assc. produced with my co admin, Splat.

I put all that minor stuff aside and just pressed play!

What an awesome fucking film! Phil Stevens mind is so fucked up to the point of brilliance! The imagery and gore were flawless. My stomach was fluttering, scene after scene. His camera work right on the mark. : )

This is still in my mind, it will be for awhile. I feel all dirty and covered in blood, I'm just going to embrace that feeling. It is fucking wonderful!

9/10

It was a pleasure to finally have this experience in Underground Mindfuck with you mate : )

What else can I add to the perfect description in the above!

I dug this because it got my cerebral juices flowing. We get the thought process of a man becoming! Sick and twisted thoughts tumble into the abyss of bloodied victims and demented visions! Past and present supersede each other. Felt two minds interplayed as our killer's past memories flash across the screen.

Perfectly shot...the black and white was spot on for this experience in abstract horror!

My thing will be to revisit in a few months time once I clear my mind of the all the background experiences of the film...of how things were done etc.

I mentioned elsewhere a lot of heartbreak and tears went into this from my side, thankfully it was worth it in the end.

Oh yeah I am in this...I dug what he did with my footage, looks really good!

Love the screen shots...perfect!

Thanks for the phone call after...discussing the film with you put a few things in perspective and it fits perfectly with Flowers, everything came together.   Amazingly done and very creative way to connect the films. I heard the third film is in production. This is gonna be a sick trilogy for sure.

...Oh, Splat, your scene was so cool.  You did an excellent job with your FX.

*edit..

When I was looking for screen shots I found that  Lung II was uploaded to DailyMotion BUT it had been taken down.

Just sorry my phone line sounded like we were talking in a blizzard. Was great to be able to chat about the film straight after our experience!

Glad you dug what I did, pretty good for an amateur. Was really surprised at how it looked on the big screen and gave me a bit of confidence with my future visits I want to bring to you and likeminded fans of these kind of films!

Love films where we get sick debauchery and at the same time fuel for thought with what is happening...we are not force fed explanations, we are on a journey of discovery!

So I handed Phil's film to some people at my work..

Deputy Tom..He was very interested in the trailer and would talk about the progress of Lung II when I'd see him...

His thoughts..

''There was no dialog. Why? I fast forward through a few parts because it dragged on. They didn't say anything..  I kinda know what was going on and when he made the phone call I thought, finally some conversation............but no.  :straight: The FX was amazing and that nurse girl, beautiful. Yeah, I liked it.''

What impressed me, Tom went on youtube to look up reviews on Lung II and connected Flowers to the film. He took time to research something that was different to him.

I'm kinda tired. I'll post some more reactions from mainstreamers  in the coming days.

Had a little chuckle when he states about no dialogue and fast forwarding it to find some. Glad once he got into it he got the feel and dug it.

Impressed he did the research afterwards.

Wander if it fuels the juices to go check out Flowers.

Yes I think he may. The next time I see him, gonna offer to lend him my copy.

Okay, my next fella, Aaron, IT guy for the court system. He loved it but was a bit proper when explaining his thoughts, ''Why was he wearing gloves at certain points, How did he have a coin in his pocket to make the phone call. The FX was amazing! I did have to get used to no dialog and the music score was fantastic! Hey Patty do you want your film back, I said, no it's yours, you own an amazing underground/indie film...His response... Thankyou..  :)

He explained his thoughts spot on. He got what the film was about even thought he new nothing of Flowers.  I was quite impressed.

Waiting for my boss to view it and the two Nates. That will complete my list. Also, I need to hear from Darren from Canada.

Emailed Walter the trailer of Lung II. We talk films every so often, he's very intelligent and knowledgeable.  He works  in psychological services. :gum:

His response;

'' I watched the trailer you emailed me, Interesting.  You still have my business card, aye?''

Nate just bought a 110 year old house, he says the basement is creepy. He and his girl just had a baby, so they have been busy and...tired. I gave him a copy of Lung II. So tonight is the night. He and Dana will watch Lung II in the basement of their creaky old house.  :wideeyed:

He is a probation officer and Dana is a lawyer.
