NIGHT OF THE MAGICIAN is the story about an evil theatre magician, Majesto, who feeds his dark powers with human blood….blood that he gets from the victims of his macabre theatre show. The body count is rising and it's up to occult investigator Professor Jenkins and his side kick Kyle to stop Majesto before more innocent people fall victim to his torturous ways.

NIGHT OF THE MAGICIAN harkens the spirit of classic Universal horror films such as DRACULA and FRANKENSTEIN but also pays homage to the 70's and 80's horror exploitation movies that we all know and love. BLOODSUCKING FREAKS and THE WIZARD OF GORE being two of them.

Baron Misuraca as
Majesto

Night of the Magician is the second feature from filmmaker Liam Alexander. His first being last years zombie survival movie Survive (2014). Along with these two feature length films Liam also has two short films to his name. First being Devil Moon and the second, he co-directed with Johnny Dickie, Bloodmask. Liam has couple of films currently in production as well; 60 Seconds to Die (segment SERPO) and Grindsploitation 2: The Lost Reels.

On discovering Night of the Magician just before its Indiegogo campaign went live I knew this was something I truly wanted to support! I had planned on supporting an up and coming young filmmaker for a while and am a big fan of his father's, Evan Makrogiannis, films The Turnpike Killer and The Super. So getting behind the campaign was a synch for me. With everything that has been shared so far I have NOT been proven wrong!

Keep an eye on this thread for farther information on this upcoming feature from a shining star of the future for underground / indie filmmaking!

Evan Makrogiannis just got back to me on an enquiry about NotM. It is in editing mode now. Unfortunately there was issues with the original guy but now everything is all steam ahead.

New post on their FB page...first since 2016. Apparently more updates to come, including when perks will be shipped.

Read in the comments that apparently they lost their lead  a few days into the shoot due to him moving along with a host of other shit.

Wonder why they never decided to provide that info to the public.

They replied to Matt -N-Freck or whatever his name is. Stated a lot of stuff that went wrong including the actor.

Funny enough with all the times Evan and I chatted he never mentioned it once.

Best of luck to Liam and Evan with the release, Feel it has promise with whatever guise it takes on, both are talented filmmakers in there own rights!
